Are there any games that capture the magic of 80s and 90s Jackie Chan movies? The creative choreography and use of everyday objects in the fights, the amazing stunt work. There’s Sleeping Dogs I guess and the Yakuza games but neither really get close to the asthetic of those old movies.
Are there any games that capture the magic of 80s and 90s Jackie Chan movies...
It would be QTE bullshit
Feng Shui.
Like... the tabletop card game?
No, the roleplaying game. If you want a video game that does it, I dunno man, maybe Jade Empire? That kind of combat isn't replicated in any video game so just go tabletop.
The first Power Stone game maybe?
Man Jackie Chan is ageless
Jet Li: Rise to Honor for PS2 is literally that, the game is fun as fuck
commie dog
Hong Kong people hate his guts
Actually a good suggestion I forgot about this game ty user
not really the same but "jet li :rise to honor" was fun back in the day
>jackie chan still looks exactly the same
how the heck does he do it
“No.”
Absolver
Shenmue
Dead to Rights Retribution
Tenchu
Jade Empire
True Crime
Wu tang shaolin style
Kung fu panda
>Jackie Chan's american movies

DMC
Reminder Jackie Chan supports Chinese Communism, beats women, smokes, and drinks.
Who are you quoting
the voices in his head
based
There is also Jet Li Rise for Honor but I thought it was trash, idk how it holds up
This one is really good, it really aged well aside from teh graphics
Sounds based.
Jackie Chan is 65.
God, Rush Hour was damn good. Too bad if a new one happens it might be a souless parody of the other movies, considering the modern state of cinema.
>kicks a guy in the face twice
>"let's sit down and discuss this like gentlemen"
>continues to combo on him
Truly the definitive jackie chan experience.
There was a recent video with him saying all modern action movies have so many jumpcuts because they don't have real action stars in them, and they need the jumpcuts to hide their bad performance. You're probably better off just rewatching his older movies or finding something else.
Doing long cuts or even scenes all in one take is in vogue now though
Modern action movies are all pretty boys and skinny models who never threw a punch their entire lives doing fake stunts and CGI all over the place. Just make them superheroes and brainlets eat it. Even with all the jumpcuts it looks cringy.
No. No no no. None of these. What is wrong with you
lol
So, this is how bad it got? Jesus...
It would look a lot like MIB international.
Take out the two defining characters, copy the setting, cast big name actors regardless of how well they work in the film and try to make a cinematic universe cashcow out of it.
That's the reason John Wick was a success but we hate that film here too because it's too big with the normies.
They'd probably replace them with women too.
chris tucker the worst thing about rush hour. his character is unlikeable and annoying and unfunny. his fifth element character was more enjoyable and he was purposely being annoying
John wick has trash editing and fight choreography. Jackie broke every bone in his body making his movies as badass as possible fuck Keanu
came to post this
God Hand and Dark messiah perhaps?
When you compare it to Jackie Chan, then sure.
But you can't deny John Wick isn't a massive step up to Hollywood action industry.
>laya gentlmn
So beautiful
>that opinion
bzzzzzzt
>That bodyslam
Kino
>video games will never capture this feeling
why live
fantastic
Honestly the only thing that comes to mind is sleeping dogs you can even throw people into the environmental hazards and shit, can you post some drunk fist stuff?
>shooting of Max Payne
>melee of God Hand, although a tad more realistic
>looks and feel reminiscent F.E.A.R office levels, with all sorts of debris, blood, and furniture breaking from the action (which ironically was based on these action flicks)
Recommend me some kung-fu kino I should watch as a newfag.
total newfag? Drunken Master 1+2
Did you know Jackie used to do porn?
On a different note are there any games that capture the atmosphere of "A better tomorrow"
what a badass
Enter the Dragon (1973)
Rush Hour reboot, starring Lucy Liu and Leslie Jones
actual soul
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
So fucking good.
That uncut wide shot of the stuntman being defenestrated is something one will rarely see in Hollywood. God bless Jackie's stunt team and Asian martial arts cinema.
SLeeping dogs
Yakuza
Shaolin Drunkard
The Miracle Fighters
Ong-Bak trilogy if you want Muay Thai
R.I.P. Spinal break in two places. Was dead by the time the camera crew got to the body.
Really?
When was this pic taken? Theres no way there will be a rush hour 4
I dont want it anyways because 3 was shit
no
>I CAN'T BELIEVE MY LUCK
NOOOO
jackie chan is a chinese dog
we hate him in honk kong
YOU GUYS CAN'T TOUCH ME
Jackie Chan's best role is pic related.
Name 5 games that aren't Jackie Chan Stuntmaster
Holy fuck he's more based than I thought.
Max Payne 2 with the Chow Yun Fat mod
youtube.com
There was also John Woo Stranglehold but I never played it.
based jackie chan saving hong kong from western degeneracy
Didn't Chris Tucker go into hiding?
Play tekken 7
JC may be a PRC shill, but I will always respect the mans ability and work ethic
It's still extremely rare. Birdman was an anomaly and John Wick is the only one recently that gave a shit about long action shots.
Didn't Sammo Hung direct this one?
Creed either had long cuts in it's fight scenes or was good at masking the cuts
The Raid 1 & 2 was good too
>too big with the normies
The meme about killing his dog was pretty big on facebook last year but very few people actually watched the movies. Keanu himself became the meme and is what's popular not the movies.
