It's a real evolution of the civ formula, the only real critique I have of it is that the battles are a bit boring. But the autoresolve is actually very competent.
What I love most about it is that all races actually do play differently, instead of some mild diffrence.
Would recommend. Solid 9/10. It even got another dlc a few months ago.
