Remake is 60 fps. If you have to, import a cheap copy from another region; they're all the same except maybe for menu button layout. It is pretty weird having to use jap circle-to-accept layout in the system menu when playing the remake.

Euro copy is like 15 or 20 bucks right now. USA copy is expensive because it was exclusive, blame sony for another great marketing choice.

It's not super great, honestly. But I really enjoyed Kat's character, the story is so-so, combat needs a lock on system to be less frustrating but is otherwise pretty solid. The real treat is actually just getting around. It's pretty fun flying around and doing stuff.

If you have a PS4 save editor you can edit your save file to have them unlocked. Probably not worth buying one just for a few GR costumes though.

The artists are, though.
Both the director and creative leads are thoroughly interested in a new release, and it's pretty evident that both of their interest is grounded heavily in legitimate love for it. From live performances of the songs to the special place it has in the writers heart, they would adore having a chance to make a new game.

Also this - GR2 doesn't really wrap up GR1 anyway, at least not in the main game. There's a free DLC story that does, it's short but pretty good and you play as Raven's cute edgy ass.

But then there's uncle Sony they have to worry about. They probably won't fund them for it.
