So can KotH. Just recently I had a Kong King match that lasted for some half an hour before anyone finally managed to start the timer. Even then the timer constantly shifted between two teams. There were three more rounds of this before the match finally ended. I was exhausted by the end.
Theoretically, the shortest matches are CTF since you can end a match in about 2 minutes. In practice they're usually the ones that last the longest.

Probably even fooled the medic for the duration even before he started butterknifing him, since you can clearly see the sniper's name change to the heavy's.
Kinda makes me wonder what happened between the two seconds it took for the Spy to kill the Heavy when he left the medic's FoV, the spy to make the decision to (probably put the last disguise on) and then swap to Heavy with the 200 IQ move to draw in the Medic.
I'm a little sad that the end-result was that the Spy died, but that was still a magnificent attempt. Even a post-mortem death of the Medic getting barraged by bullets from the other enemies would've been nice for how long he was out in the open.

I always figured it was because they weren't willing to do the base amount of work needed to fix it. If you had just one friend on the other team you could both grab Cloak & Dagger and basically ruin the server whenever you wanted. Back then you could also full heal with Eureka Effect whenever you wanted or be virtually immortal running through medkits and ammo with the Dead Ringer.

The fact that they're two steps outside of spawn means that even if you can get in on the snipers, they can very likely duck back into spawn before you can kill them, and you'll also have to contest with any of their respawning teammates who might be leaving the spawn room when you show up.
Also, you can't just play on the outside or you'll lose because the point you need to be capturing is in the middle.

Meanwhile in Harvest, the best sniper spots are a good distance away from spawn, and moreover, a sniper standing outside of spawn wouldn't have a good view of anything.
This means snipers are usually by themselves and don't have an easy escape route if someone comes for them. Additionally, snipers can't shoot onto the point without massively exposing themselves by standing out in the open in the center of the map.

Isn't it only one of the unusuals though?

Yeah. Community servers tend to allow it, just not Valve servers.

And that's not at all what I'm talking about, you imbecile. Harvest is a wide map whose center can be crossed at any point. Avoiding a sniper's sightlines should not be a problem.

Should also add, it's possible to see other people's sprays on Valve servers IF you already have that same file in your PC. Don't know if you know but basically the way it works is that when you use a spray, that image is getting saved in everyone's computer. Meaning if you go into a community server and someone uses a certain spray, you can then go into an official server and if that person uses the same spray, you'll see it.

You cannot cross the center in Harvest without coming into either of the famous Sniper spots, in Nucleus you can literally go under or all the way around to them.

Sorry, I'm not knowledgeable enough in that regard. All I know is that there should be a spray folder in your computer from sprays people have posted either from before Valve disabled them in their servers or from community servers.
I don't know if the malware issue was just a rumor or not. Seems like it'd be easy to fix that exploit, if it existed. And if the issue would be something like having cp as a spray, which then gets saved in people's computers, Valve could've implemented a system that automatically deletes sprays.
