poor bait

Kingdoms of Almsomting: Reckoning

That was an amazing 60 hours of absolute nothing.

Yikes.

Persona 3.
Only reason I finished it was because I was unemployed at the time and had nothing else to do.

DMC2
It was soul suckingly bad

The fuck were they thinking

Attached: maxresdefault.jpg (1280x720, 105K)

Just finished Wolfenstein Young blood with my sister

We have sworn off Bethesda

Blue Dragon

I love RPGs but fuck what a yawner.

And maromaro is the most obnoxious fucking character ever, I want to slap the shit out of the voice actor jesus christ.

At least the non-game part of Alpha Protocol was fun. Probably the only time "your choices matter" was actually true.

this, what the fuck were they thinking

Lords of the Fallen

what an absolutely pointless piece of garbage.

nigga i dont finish games i like why the hell you think il finish bad games?

I just finished Dying Light yesterday. Every single techland game I've ever played epitomizes "great ideas, horrible execution," this was no exception. The QTE final boss didn't help.

Skyrim. I genuinely don't know how people like it

Persona 2 duology. Goddamn those games were bad. Back to P4, the best Persona.

Uncharted 4. Wanted closure on Drake but fucking hell that game sucked the life out of ne. Wouldn't play it again if you paid me

I've never finished a truly horrible game. Why would you?

Alpha Protocol is cool as hell dude

Sinking city. It started off cool, then it got repetitive and lost all it's atmosphere. A truly shitty game.

>b8ing this hard
Made me reply so I'll give you a 5/8.

Spec Ops: The Line

Wasted time and wasted money on a rental.

>Persona 3 bad!
Yikes, if Persona 3 is bad then the whole franchise is shit.

>sister
How do you convince a normie gaming sister too stop buying normie shit and actually play good vidya? Asking for a friend

Literally the only game I've played for the past 8 years.

DAT BOSS MUSIC THO
youtube.com/watch?v=LUjxPj3al5U

Fucking this. Out of all the things wrong with it, they made it short thinking there would be another game. Nothing wrong with short RPGs, but I expect more than 12 hours.

I thought at the very least the parkour was amazing

Try the original Human Rev. Stealth bosses are just awful.

To be honest I find the side quests more enjoyable than the generic dragon genocide of the main story, especially the wizard school story was more interesting to me

Fallout 3

I keep thinking of picking it up dirt cheap on a holiday sale, but I keep hearing that they cranked up the shitlib politics too much and it's lacking all subtlety and just brainlet fanfiction now.

How cringey is it, user?

>Playing a game you find horrible

Attached: 1534759875050.jpg (640x645, 61K)

Fuck you "truly awful" faggots

Right now I'm playing through Digimon World 1 on the PS1 and I have the feeling that this is going to be me. I love lots of aspects of this game but at the same time I utterly despise the process of raising your digimon, which requires you to grind a bunch every time you get a new one and if you don't read a guide to see how to get digimon there's a chance you'll get stuck with a shit numemon that will require you to start again.

EA Star Wars Battlefront 2, even playing the multiplayer is a fucking nightmare.
KH Re:CoM, pretty nice story but awful worlds with repetitive gameplay that can only be enjoyable if you learn how it works spending hours and hours

thinly veiled "how would YOU feel if you were racismed against" politics, but it never bothered me, interesting experience

the shit part is how most of the game is loading screens, game is short and story is completely amputated leaving giant plotpoints just hanging. i would just skip it, if youre anything like me it would just leave you angry

The only thing Obsidian are good at.

Mass Effect 1 was great.
Mass Effect 2 was fun and generally pretty good if you can forgive some of the shitty writing.
Mass Effect 3 was, I'm just gonna say it, pretty good up untill you make it to Kronos Station. I know it sucks but I always have a blast going through it.

Fallout 3/4/NV
Skyrim
GTA V
Hitman Absolution
Any Sims game after 2

Why am I even bothering posting, I've got fucking hundreds I could name.

No shit.

Final Fantasy XV.
Dragon Age 2.

what kind of dumbass logic is this?

"It has to get better eventually"
"I'm already X hours in, it can't be that much until it gets good"
"People told me this game was good, maybe just a little more"
"I finished the game. What the fuck?"
So basically a combination of peer pressure and sunk cost fallacy.
To be fair, some games do have a rough start so it's not a completely invalid way to think.

Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Fuck the waifu faggots and fuck that game

I am so fucking tired of this stupid fucking meme. Your choices in AP don't fucking matter

Every game of Gwent and Artifact ever

If it's horrible why would you finish it? Don't you have something better to play instead?

Shaq Fu on Gameboy. Why did I finish it? Because I realized you can win every single fight against the AI by crouching and spamming kick.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider.. Jesus what a soulless experience that was.

Tekken 7
I know you can't technically 'finish' it but you know what I mean. It's just not Tekken anymore.

>Doos Ex

Spellforce 3

>Loading screens everywhere
>Heroes are able to obliterate armies by themselves
>Can destroy the enemy base with hero units before the rts portion even starts thus ending the map as soon as you start the rts bit
>Magic is broken as fuck

It was a very pretty game, I'll give it that. But I regret buying that shit.

>if Persona 3 is bad then the whole franchise is shit.
Pretty much. but try convincing braindead weebs that a railroaded VN is worth no one's time. Weebs have ZERO standards. If I wanted to watch a shit anime, I'd watch a shit anime.

The older I get the more I realize time is precious. The last shit games I beat were Skyward Sword and Other M way back in Wii days. and that was merely to prove a point (I loved to shit on fanboys then). Now? If a game sucks, I drop it and move on. Looking at you Persona 5!

I don't understand slogging through a crap game. What's the payoff?

Attached: 1561102142443.jpg (945x920, 349K)

What about Andromeda?

it's HR, but with worse plot (i dunno how they've achieved this) and shittier optimization. there are some quality of life changes like much better controls and shit, but it just doesn't worth it. the optimization is ass too. also there's this issue of microtransactions - basically there's these lvlup points and weapons that you can get for irl cashmoney. the kicker is that they can only be used by one savefile. yep.
shit game, i regret buying and beating it.

Perch is a beautiful fish :)

Life's too short to finish bad games.

BotW

>only use one spell, from a scroll
>become archmage after walking around in some caves
incredible

Damn tasty too.
You're definitely prettier though. ;)

I played Vice City and never again touched another GTA.

Why do you autists even bother finishing bad games?

Monster hunter world behemoth ancient leshen ats in general

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunk_cost

andromeda is an ugly game, and some of the writing is bad, but it isnt dreadful from a gameplay standpoint

A commentary on "Us" vs "Others" can be interesting, but a topic of "racism" written by Canadians ends up as a joke.

i cannnot wait for wath dogs brexit edition. going to be the funniest game of the decade

Fire emblem fates: revelations

Awful maps, balance, and story added on to the fates awful supports meant that there was literally nothing redeeming about the experience

If you can handle playing RPGs with nonsensical stories. It is the one genre that the story must, above all else, be coherent.

Persona 5 would be if I could be bothered to finish it. Every aspect but the flashy graphics ranges from dire to pretty ok.

Attached: 1564788114812.png (456x465, 444K)

For me, it's Metro last light, there was absolutely nothing redeeming about it - especially the last half with the cringy alien thing. Story was absolute shit and combat was shallow and boring

When you finish a truly bad good game.
SWERY amazes me everyday.

Attached: 121241241.jpg (616x353, 38K)

Obsidian has never made a good game.

Sometimes a bad game grows on you and becomes kinda fun in the end.

We don't talk about Andromeda.

you fucking retard, we all swore off Bethesda like 8 years ago, what took you so fucking long?

Even if you find the story interesting (doubtful), the gameplay is simply ass.
I made the mistake to do crafting when I first played it and easily became an undying killing machine. I just walked on enemies, wielding my sword like an oar, and hit till they died without a care in the world.

Metro 2033 wasn't as bad but it was kind of shit with the boring uninteresting gunplay and shit VA also trying to guilt-trip you into saving the murder aliens because "they weren't trying to explode everyone's brains". What a crock of shite

But you will have endless "different " characters to choose from.
You can play as an old lady. So funny, amirite?

For me, it's Last of Us

>For me, it's Alpha Protocol
>Alpha Protocol
>Bad
Go back to your EA loot boxes kiddo.

I dont like this image, i an only relate to 2 images there, the shower crying one and the facepalm, there should be a relief one ("im finally done with this shit) instead of the sad face, since you are long past that by the end of the game.

The screaming one i can understand but its the same as the sad face one, you are way past rage by the time of the end.

It a great concept for a game, but everything about it is just terrible and doesn't work.
There's no true investigation to do (you have to find every item and then the guys works it out), the "gameplay" consists of hiding from demons in shitty big standard stealth sections etc.
It's just boring and a real waste of a cool idea.
Ghost Trick is better.

C O P E
GTA4 was shit

I played Red Faction Armageddon and ended roughly like that.

Skyrim IS truly awful.

It was alright.
I think it gets hate from people who played Guerilla but didn't play 1 or 2.

I am alive

>pretty good up untill you make it to Kronos Station
reverse that to thessia and you are spot on

1 or 2 wasn't as linear as Armageddon.

i think the only bad fame i finished was thomas was alone

if something is bad i dont bother with it for long

>Dragon Age Inquisition

THAT'S IT? THIS IS BAD COMEDY. I FOUGHT THROUGH ALL THE ENDLESS TEDIUM FOR THIS?

Attached: Gohan_goes_ssj2.gif (500x271, 960K)

Turns out people really like grounded and traditional fantasy settings despite the rest of the entertainment industry trying to copy WoW. The only other game I can think of that offers that sort of feeling is Dragon's Dogma, which also has it's loyal following.

Amalur

DD has a following due to gameplay more than setting and story. Skyrim's gameplay is garbage.

Mass Effect has always been an overrated mess since it's inception, and the only reason everyone lapped it up was because Bioware was (for whatever retarded reason) immune to criticism on any level.

I got plat in the order 1886 today.
>cant skip cutscenes
>motion blur makes you see jack shit
>those fucking unremovable black bars
fuck that shit

Attached: 1502941097129.jpg (720x565, 41K)

Bloodborne, though I wouldn't say truly horrible but I did not enjoy it at all.

I AM COOL FOR HATE POPULAR SERIES BUT DONT MAKE FUN OF MY GTA IT MAKE ME FEEL LIKE THE BLACK PEOPLE IN MY RAP MUSIC

Attached: 1543744254719.jpg (292x215, 15K)

what about the music?

It wasn’t even that bad.

I don't even finish all the good games I play, why would I sit through a crap one unless it's less than two hours long?

But why

Gameplay is solid, but it you'd be wrong if you don't think being a traditional fantasy setting wasn't a massive part of the game's charm.

Plus, I never hear people talk about gameplay, but they ALWAYS talk about Grigori.

DD's setting is only talked about when speaking of the subversion of the previously incredibly generic fantasy setting with neat metaphysics. Most of the love I've seen and held for DD's setting is based around endgame and postgame, also the DLC.

you're not even that bad bitch

FF15

soooo fucking bad for a game that was worked on for 10 years

>Tfw people still lap this PoS up like it didn't play like absolute ass, forced you to play as a human for no reason, and the entire story relied on a twist to keep it so what interesting.

Attached: 220px-Kotorbox.jpg (220x305, 27K)

>thinking story mode in CoD is bad means you hate the series

Attached: 1564708914988.jpg (638x558, 64K)

WHO THE FUCK GAVE KERMIT TEETH?

For me it was Armored Core: For Answer
*ahem*
fuck White Glint

I enjoyed it thoroughly for one massive, exhaustive playthrough, but I wouldn't do it again.

Just Cause 4 was certainly an experience. An unstable crash-fest with all the mechanics that made 3 good either replaced with something miles worse or gutted entirely, and all of the "new" features were either blatant lies or pointless memery. The final boss dying in a completely non-interactive cutscene without even fighting him was the cherry on top. At least 3 let me pop Riviera in the face after blasting him out of his golden helicopter.

Pawned LotF 2 at the first stealth section. If I want to play a Castlevania game, I want a Castlevania game. It immediately felt cheap and dishonest, like they were trying to check a box.

Picture unrelated I guess

Attached: hide the pain.jpg (728x800, 90K)

There is no Lords of the Fallen 2. You're thinking of Lords of Shadow.

Maybe 1, but definitely not 2.

Resident Evil 6

That's it.

Mechanically it's amazing and it has some of the best level design in the entire series. It's gorgeous. The story is just lackluster. Play it.

Why did it end the way it did? It was actually fun at first.

FFXIII

i don't finish horrible games

Bioshock infinite.
Honestly couldn't believe that was what all the hype was about.

Rage. What was they thinking?

This. Bioware was one of the most overrated studios to ever exist.

The gameplay is fine. It’s the fact that it’s so short for a rpg that’s so troubling.

Kingdom: Classic is the worst game I've ever seen from a mechanical perspective and I have no clue why so many people enjoy it.

Attached: 1547930260556.jpg (640x480, 31K)

Why would you finish a horrible video game ?

>(I loved to shit on fanboys then).
How does you finishing a game have any effect at all on "fanboys" ? Did anyone even care that you finished ?

Alpha Protocol was fucking awesome

>Persona 5
Has a quite deep plot that you cant relate to, being antisocial and all.

wut? literally everything about the final act of the game is subject to change depending on your actions

>137 posts of "it didn't cater to ME enough so it must be very bad".
Yikes. Hard times when, so you greasy fatties can stop feeling entitled.

Because then retards go "YOU DIDN'T EVEN FINISH IT WHAT'S THE MATTER TOO HARD FOR YOU"

The better question is, have you ever played a game so fascinatingly horrible that you kept going just to see how deep the rabbit hole could go?

Call of Cthulhu Dark Corners Of The Earth comes to mind. Had the whole game been like the beginning where you are investigating Innsmouth instead of a mediocre shooter then it would be one my top games of all time.

I value my time so I don't finish "truly horribe video games"

Zero Time Dilemma

Bioshock infinite.
What a fucking waste of time.

From top left to bottom right:Albedo, normal, roughness, metalness

Smackdown Vs RAW 2010 just a few minutes ago.

The game itself isn't that bad but the HBK campaign was just terrible in general
>stupid fucking plot about JustinBieberLover shitting on his SemenFuck boyfriend
>scripted fights up the ass where you can't tell whenever you should win or not
>3 (three) consecutive fights including a steel cage match with an obligatory jump from cage objective against a JailBreakerLesbian who just won't stay down for five seconds
>also a backstage 1v2 against Shadman and some nigger
>ALSO a fucking 2v4 where your boyfriend slurps semen while you get gangbanged by two guys at a time
And the worst offender
>final boss won't fucking die, has near perfect reversals (while barely attacking) AND you have to wait for another fucking scripted sequence where Triple Aids joins the fight just to do jackshit and JannyButtholeLicker and Jericho double team you, with the win condition being an arbitrary pin where you need to pray to god under a full moon to work

Fuck this game, I love it, but fuck this game.

Golden sun. What an embarrassment of a game.

I'm 30 and never finish games I hate. Even as a kid, I'd just replay the ones I liked instead.

This.

Attached: DfXNRVGX0AAMZBt-1024x576.jpg (1024x576, 82K)

The entirety of Nu-Wolfenstein. I had to trudge through that game despite it's terrible story, gameplay and plot. TNO was pretty tolerable though, but I immediately went with Wolfenstein TNC after that instead of playing TOB and holy shit Wolfenstein TNC was fucking awful, I almost quit at the court level, and the final boss was a fucking disappointment compared to TNO. TNC's gameplay was so fucking bad that it made me detest nu-Wolf's gameplay as a whole, especially upon realising how fucking boring it is compared to Classic Doom, RTCW and hell even nu-Doom. Then when I got to TOB and reached the village area and then my save file got corrupted I just gave up and played RTCW instead. When I am finished with that I'll play Enemy Territory because that shit is fun.

Not as bad as Wolfenstein 2, but the way they represented the Czechs and Czechia as a whole was fucking awful. People called how China and France was represented in DX1 bad, but I disagree because they got actual actors from that country to voice act those characters. DXMD literally gets a bunch of Americans trying out Russian accents (not even close to a Czech accent) whilst simultaneously completely missing the potential and point of Czechia as a setting.
I basically refunded the game when I got to that Karel Capek mission and instead of referencing RUR in a meaningful way, they just had some mentally ill woman act as though she actually lived in that fictional world.
The Russian accents genuinely offended me to an extent. I laughed at first at it's ridiculousness, but when I saw the retarded racism analogy, the poorly done Karel Capek side-mission, the shit story, the fact that this is apparently a prequel to DX1 despite the fact that the tech looks more advanced, etc all of these factors convinced me to refund that game. I just played Deus Ex 1 and a few mods and had way more fun with that.

Attached: 1564357477817.png (767x431, 74K)

basically, hence why chernobyl kept everyone english for the sake of clarity for the english audience at least

>a game I loved so much I immediately started another playthrough after my first time beating it
hmm

Alpha Protocol is great

ADHD kiddies who try to play it like an action game hate it though

It's perfectly fine as an action game as well, so long as you build pistols and martial arts.
