>english version

fucking long ass boring intro like twilight princess, massive amount of money needed thanks to tingle and triforce quest, starting wallet is small.

The remake isn't even better then the original imo.

no good lewds of aryll

Terribad overworld

Attached: 1554315398736.png (615x187, 7K)

Cut dungeons. OST is too good. Best Link and Zelda. Far and away the best Ganon.

Like all other zeldas, not a good game.

Nintendo rushed its development and it shows. With an extra year it could have been one of the greatest games of its generation, as it stands it's a series of half-fulfilled promises with a handful of fully realized bits, like Ganondorf's character

>The remake
Wind Waker has never gotten a remake.

triforce maps
linear dungeon order
literally flat overworld

Too easy.
Literally unfinished.
The backstory is retarded when you think about it.

No wedding at the end

Attached: 1564535818543.jpg (1024x670, 126K)

The ending of OoT was retarded so it fits.

Dude
The game is literally and absolutely unfinished. Even the localization shows rushed parts.
There are just so many bad aspects about TWW.

Would have been better with more dungeons

How is it unfinished?

Because Twilight Princess was almost double the length of it

They didn't complete the sex scene you can have with tetra

Literally too comfy

>triforce parts fetchquests
FffffffffffuckingTIIIIINGLLLLE

Look at fucking Hyrule. It's absolutely empty and without much meaning. Also, almost 3/4 of the islands are irrelevant, which makes for 90% of the whole world being useless.
The Triforce hunt, although one of the most enjoyable parts of the game, shows that it was nothing but made to artificially jack up the amount of time spent on the game.
It also has a staggering amount of bugs.

>It also has a staggering amount of bugs.
What?

You're wrong but ok

>I AM SILLY

Triforce hunt and not enough dungeons. If you put the Triforce pieces into additional dungeons it solves both problems.

youtube.com/watch?v=oI23bMuo-AI

Wind Waker is a flawless masterpiece in the parallel universe where it wasn't rushed out and got an extra year of development time.

The hunt was the best part of the game though. Just fix the overworld.

To be fair, bugs you literally have to go looking for and that 99% of people never see whatsoever are not really flaws. How many of these did you encounter before seeing that video?

I can't tell if this is bait or not.

Mediocre dungeons

I'm playing it for the first time right now and this is my main criticism. Even Hero mode doesn't fix the enemies shitty AI. Otherwise 10/10 game.

Everything except the aesthetic and some of the cutscenes.
Legitimately the worst 3D Zelda.

>Nintendo

The QTE bullshit absolutely ruins the Ganondorf fight.
Not only is it boring and easy, sometimes it just doesn't work for whatever reason. Because you have zero control you have to rely on Link to not fuck up.
TP's combat techniques were an objective upgrade. It's just a shame it's as easy as WW so you don't really need to use anything outside of the roll attack (which is a mandatory upgrade).

Attached: Shadow Temple vs Wind Temple.jpg (2514x702, 142K)

Nice cherrypicking faggot.
Those graphs also only focus on the structure and ignore everything else about the dungeons. Like how the Wind and Earth Temple force you to babysit companions.

toon link is a filthy abomination of nature

Cope.

Nintendo really needs to do something about the enemies' AI.
That's not really a fair comparison. Shadow Temple was a place that bet everything on its horror atmosphere, the hidden pits and platforms, while the Wind Temple is arguably the best dungeon in TWW.

It's only been released on consoles that bombed.

BotW has some of the most impressive AI I've seen in a game since FEAR.

Sailing is too slow. That's literally it though

Attached: 1547144969588.png (1000x1600, 2.41M)

Didn't the HD version make sailing faster?

It was bad but it at least makes the treasure charts useful for finding the 200 rupee hauls

As much as I dislike the Triforce Charts, they actually make Wind Waker the only Zelda game that has a meaningful rupee economy.

Attached: foxPepe.jpg (320x320, 21K)

>The Triforce hunt, although one of the most enjoyable parts of the game,

You're out of your god damn mind if you think that's fun or enjoyable.

>omg I have to open maps and search
It's also the part where you can actually wander around and explore islands freely without fearing of lacking an item that is needed.

It makes you at least visit other areas. Unlike BotW or MM where you can miss entire areas

There was a faster sail but you had to do the auction shit to get it and it was random if it was the prize or not. I do believe it was a good speed though, the randomiser uses swift sail speed and I think the game would be perfect if that was the base speed.

Fuck, i remember getting super excited when i saw Hyrule when i was little, i thought it was gonna have a bunch of redesigned OoT dungeons.
But then it was only a short path up to Ganons Tower.

Whitewashing Zelda

Attached: comic.jpg (564x5696, 1.01M)

>complaining about difficulty in a game made for kids

>weeb

Where's the Switch version of WW HD?
Where's the Switch version of Metroid Trilogy?
Where's the Switch version of Xenoblade X?

Blatantly unfinished.

>EOP

Whitewashing is meant to refer to historical revisionism and using it as a term for turning dark-skinned characters white is literally tumblr-speak.

Whatever you want to call it, it was a visual downgrade

Your dick is crooked.

>cut content
>too easy
>Hyrule feels unfinished
>I like the sailing but its an extremely understandable criticism
>paved the way for timeline autism
I love this game but to say its not flawed is insane.

/thread

The flaws become glaring when you take on the deku mission near the end of the game. The one where you have to spread special water to deku saplings across multiple island. It's end game, so you would think that travel would be swift. But no, travel is so fucking long and clunky, that they gave the special water a 20 minute timer, and ti's STILL a challenge.

all the mechanics required just to move from point A to point B are so fucking bothersome.
-You have to get off your boat, which involves dunking yourself in water, before slowly wading toward the island's shore.
-Use the slow as fuck grapple hook to swing over to the next ledge. Grab the special water, wait for the prompt to go away, even after you've seen it like 5 times already.
-Slowly trot back out to the shore where the boat awaits. Again, needing to plop into the water, before reaching the boat and climbing on.
-Now you have to redirect the wind, so you play the song of winds, and change direction.
-Off you go to the next location, a mandatory 1 to 2 minute wait, as you lazily dodge easy to avoid attacks, only put there to force the player to stay awake while sailing.
-Get off the boat, plopping back into the water. slowly swimming to shore.
-Run up to the sapling, and pour water on it, watching the animation of it straightening.
-Jumping back into the water, and slowly swimming back to your ship and climbing in.
-This time you have to teleport, so you play the teleportation song. Selecting the location that is closest to where you need to go, however, it is also a block or two away. So regardless of it being technically faster, there is still a mandatory 1-2 minute wait.
-But not so fast there, buddy, after the teleport, the wind isn't optimal for movement. So you need to play the song of winds again to readjust the wind.

And this is the entire quest. Just trying to get through the clunky mechanics as quickly as possible. The game fighting you every step of the way.

>>paved the way for timeline autism
It was inevitable with the way Ocarina of Time ended

>paved the way for timeline autism
You should probably play OoT.

> Marrying a girl who looks exactly like your sister

Legend of Zelda is so based

>you can actually wander around and explore islands freely without fearing of lacking an item that is needed.
>you can actually wander around and explore islands freely
>without fearing of lacking an item that is needed.

Steepe Island and the Hookshot say hi. Also

>omg padding game out good

You didnt think it was weird that a giant fish just gives you the third Orb just for turning up? Its common knowledge that dungeons were cut from the game due to time constraints

Will we ever get another vore dungeon?

Kind of boring and is way too childish.
Finished it once. Will not play again.

ww is kusoge dude. worst zelda by far.

She has an entirely different skin color

Maybe a shade off, but entirely different is a total stretch.

Attached: yus.jpg (1018x747, 185K)

She goes back to brown at the end

Attached: 69712399_p13.jpg (627x729, 99K)

Without the triforce quest it would have been perfect

Its not on the switch

>What is the water temple?
>What is Dodongo's cavern?
>What is Hyrule Castle?

the whole thing?

She doesn't though. Also her daughter is basically white as snow so.

>What is Dodongo's cavern?
Not very good.

Attached: DodongosCavern.png (1260x706, 154K)

>She doesn't though
She literally does.

>Also her daughter is basically white as snow so
Link has god tier genetics

Attached: Tetra_Window.png (255x151, 24K)

>She literally does.
Got like a scene or something showing that chief?

youtube.com/watch?v=sdzI2vCagNc&t=29m10s
Did you seriously never finish the game?

Attached: 69712399_p15.jpg (548x688, 116K)

You need to elaborate now why you think it's retarded.

This really started the dark age for Zelda, debatably still ongoing (BOTW showed there might actually still be life in this series; I am hopeful). Everything with Toon Link is so incredibly mediocre. Yes, even MC (good sprites do not a good game make).

This game is only fondly remembered because it was most of Yea Forums's first Zelda.

Dodongo is linear beyond imagination. Its a good dungeon, in fact all oot dungeons are good (for their time and still to this day), but the structure isn't as complex as the link to the past one.

Tetra is just tanned Zelda because Tetra is literally on a boat 24/7

Never played it nor the shirquel, right?

Wasn't my first Zelda by a long shot and I love the game. Now what you fucking godless heathen

Dude, bringing the Dodongo cavern ain't gonna help your claim.

the intro is boring
the dungeon design is basic and boring
cut dungeons
triforce hunt
barren great sea
5/10 game

Some people develop bad taste as they age.

Yes, but she's very thorough with it

Attached: Link discovers pirate booty.png (828x877, 163K)

>started the dark age for Zelda
That would be OoT.

>in fact all oot dungeons are good
How do you figure that?

There never was a dark age for Zelda. SS was one game. The rest are great

>No argument
Typical of the atheist.

I fondly remember it because it was good, and still is despite its flaws.

Fuck you, MM was amazing. And TP had the best sword fighting and some of the best dungeons ever.

It's not the HD remaster

>not understanding that she must have gerudo ancestry
Lol

>MM was amazing
No, it really wasn't
>TP had the best sword fighting and some of the best dungeons ever.
This much is true though. It's unfortunate the game was made the way it was, but it still turned out great.

Attached: 1451535597318.png (212x212, 66K)

??
The FS games are mindless ( barebones multiplayer with a Zelda skin), the DS games are mediocre junk, there's a lightgun Zelda game (lol), to say nothing of the lousy SS or ALBW. Zelda games were not 'events' until BOTW looked like it was starting to buck the trends that had been rotting out the series. Hence my hope for its sequel.

>completely optional side quest with only a Piece of Heart reward is a perfect judge for the entire game

>No, it really wasn't
Dem be fighting words, m8. You and me, in the back alley. Right the fuck now.

That's an interesting conclusion to arrive at.

Attached: image-7.jpg (2526x702, 152K)

>he DS games are mediocre junk
I still love ST. It was in my top 5 until BotW came out

I mean, it was okay..-ish.

Attached: 59360099_p1.png (646x700, 571K)

She puts on her Tetra disguise again. Not the same thing.

Fuck off ALBW was great.

who the fuck made this lmao

zit was never a disguise. SHe didn't know she was Zelda. Magic turned her white and it wore off when she left Hyrule.

Attached: 3132.png (360x444, 19K)

More like find a strength.

>Oh?! You're having fun progressing through the game?
>Too bad, looks like you'll have to start grinding rupees if you want to keep having fun.
>Hohohoho it also will take me time to translate these charts user, hope you don't mind waiting.

Kills any urge to replay this game

Attached: jew steals indian currency from small child.jpg (301x168, 12K)

It could have been a lot better with a few more large islands and more side quest style content. Combat could have been a little more difficult. An actual rival gang of pirates made up of a non-monster crew could have been great. I still liked it a lot and I wish every Zelda game had something like the figurine museum, queen of the fairies is best girl.

Attached: Fairy_Queen.png (880x1472, 1011K)

I actually don't mind this part of the Triforce Hunt. WW is one of the most fun games to get rupees in. The rupee sound is so nice I use it as my notification tone on my phone

Nearing the end of my 4th or 5th run of ALBW and it's one of the best Zeldas out there. Easily my favorite top down one too.

tetra loses all of what makes her a good character when she becomes zelda

the triforce shard hunting was a fucking pain in the ass- even if it was thematically relevant

weakest dungeons in a 3D zelda save botw because no dungeons

Here's your map of meaningful content highlighted.

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-07-13 at 3.44.25 PM.png (653x523, 528K)

Literally worst Zelda Game, I don't know how people can like this thing is boring as fuck

Needed a little more to it, but I still love it. I sometimes wish Twilight Princess didn't exist and Wind Waker 2 happened instead. No disrespect to Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks but it was clear Wind Waker was going to be a new status quo for Zelda.

Attached: WW_moblin_concept.jpg (640x487, 212K)

Go to bed Matthew

>you had to do the auction shit to get it and it was random if it was the prize or not
Bet 999 rupees from the start and you'll get it right there and then.

>Triforce pieces aren't meaningful content when they're vital to progress
And some of the optional islands are fun too

Why is everything after ALttP and OoT so fucking divisive?

So, this evil appears and the best idea the goddesses have is to flood the place?

Isn´t the triforce only suppossed to have a tiny fraction of the Godesses´ power? shouldn´t they be able to defeat Ganon with no problems?

They can´t use the excuse of "we don´t mess with mortal affairs" because flooding IS messing with mortal affairs.

Because they had the nerve to try new things

Triforce Shard Hunt

Attached: WWExperience.jpg (1200x3480, 718K)

>Isn´t the triforce only suppossed to have a tiny fraction of the Godesses´ power?
I don't remember where it says that, but perhaps they saw that Hyrule itself deserved to be punished too

Experimentation to keep the series fresh or being derivative of those games to keep consistency.

They're not.

windwaker was half finished shit just like twilight princess just like mario sunshine because nintendo had barely any exclusives

>Half finished and still amazing
Really makes you think.

She's white. She literally has blonde hair. She was never "brown". She was tan from being on a boat all day. There doesn't need to be brown or POC people in every media.

She's still cuter with the tan

I love the optional islands. Angular Island is my favorite island.
>be young me
>playing WW with literal aspie friend
>explore islands and make up lore about them
>figure out puzzles together
>discuss what's beyond the edge of the sea
So comfy. We also played a shit ton of Picman 2.
