Because they played it, had their fill, made their opinion on it and moved on. The idea that a game is "forgotten" because people don't make 24/7 threads months after release is laughable, but unfortunately not uncommon. I for instance will never forget that I fucking hate this game.

Spear, Axe, Shuriken, Umbrella. If you rely on firecrackers it simply means you're too slow and need to make openings for yourself instead of working around enemies attacks.
Each SoulKiroBourne thread is worse than the last.

the purple umbrela is my favourite prosthetic purely because of how nice it looks
Spear is great for closing the distance, and has special effects with certain enemies. Axe does a ton of damage, especially the lazulite version. The shuriken is a fast way to deal damage, again, shining in ite lazulite version. And the umbrella can be used to parry without sacrificing as much posture. You'd know this is you tried to actually use them.

Except that you can close the distance by just running, Axe does less damage than Ichi2, shuriken does less damage than one attack on the NG+ +bell+charmless, yes, even lazulite (and I'm pretty sure that it does not even deals more damage than nonlaz one since the damage is so low and easily blocked) and the time you've spend on using Umbrella you can actually hold dodge and hold block to reduce your posture, crazy, right?
What's next, you going to tell me how useful poison or fire is?
Okami Warriors. You'll probably end up finding Capcom's Amaterasu instead because both use the word Okami.
Spear can pierce and do vitality damage as well as posture damage, on top of being quicker than Ivhi2. Shurikens can be thrown at a distance, making them a safer way to apply pressure. And using umbrella to parry is going to do more posture damage to your opponent than dodging and waiting to heal your posture. And yes, Sabimaru deals with enemies pretty well.
The game is beautiful. However, the OST is a huge letdown.
Also the lazulite axe has more options to use it than ichi2, there's the regular attack, jump attack, and living force or w/e the skill is called where you can follow up a regular attack with it.
