Traits are pretty arbitrary, I mean Enhanced Enochian is both a 10% damage boost and lets you earn Polyglots but then they split that in half so they didn't have to do anything for 78 because Enhanced Enochian 2 is a 15% damage boost while you get Enhanced Polyglot at 80, when Enhanced Enochian 2 could have had both of those effects

You can get a chest in one week, just roll on the chest from all 4 bosses

they changed the loot where it drops an assortment of 8 pieces which guarantees at least 1 will be for each piece, So you can get the chest armor in one week now as opposed to a minimum of 4 weeks.

Being railroaded on a shitty story plus always being overleveled for the stuff you are doing so youre never fighting at your lvl despite not grinding is pretty horrible.

I mained DRG since ARR but switched to tank mostly to avoid queue times and shit. Then moved on to BLM and fucking love it. I have been leveling DRG again too, currently at 79, and it mostly just feels very unsatisfying to me as well as having a tedious rotation. Are any of the other melee DPS classes any more enjoyable?

Ive been having fun with monk but it is a pretty autistic class because of the anatman opener and PB usage after the opener. Lots of practice needed but it has been fun so far. Might be a low ping class cuz of the double weaving needex

Probably not after HW, but it does feel like they wanted to get to ShB plot faster. Maybe that's why SB feels like it had the concepts of two possible expansions forced together

In end game content it can be stressful to keep up enochian while also doing mechanics. And the cooldown is irrelevant, losing it even once forcing you to do the opener again is a big loss in DPS

E3S is the easiest third fight of any raid tier so far, less punishing for melees and less potential for death unless you are literally asleep or braindead or something. Only dangerous part can be tsunami but it's actually just someone with a buff that needs to push the party around, happens twice in Tsunami 2 which also has stacks and some other easy mechanics.

Generally it's three fire IV, fire, three fire IV, but remember that it's more important to keep your astral fire up so feel free to refresh sooner if you're running low due to movement or other reasons. I'm honestly still not very proficient in sharpcast use, but the general consensus seems to be to use it for thunder. At that level in particular you won't have much need of a firestarter proc, but also be careful not to throw out your thundercloud in the middle of your fire IV rotation so you don't run out of time. Once you get the trait that reduces the sharpcast cooldown to 30s you'll be using it a lot more. People still seem to prefer using it for thunder, but I found it safer to use it on fire to have lots of time to throw out that despair at the end. That's all past level 70, though.

If you can't meet the DPS check for E1S you're not gonna survive.

I feel like Im the only person who actually used the old cards that I was given. The only one Id garbage were Spires but I never fished for Balances. Id enhance Boles for tanks, extend Ewers for healers, and AoE Spears and Arrows for the party.
