Light character but has quick movement in the air, slowest fall speed in the game. Maybe give him Kirby/Jiggly multiple jumps or R.O.B. resource jump. Does bonus damage from behind.
Spins and chomps as his melees.
Instead of grabs, he possesses for a length of time depending on their damage. Kind of like a reverse Kirby.
Neutral B activates a medium length with diminishing return invulnerable mode that has free movement and can move through solids like floors.
Down B turns the floor around him into a Boo stretch. Maybe charge for bigger boos or a longer stretch.
Up B is some sort of recovery. Maybe goes invisible and flies upwards or something.
Side B spits out a regular Boo that can be killed easily and behaves like a normal Boo in Mario: doesn't approach when you're looking at it, moves through solid objects, and tries to home in towards the player. If the Boo hits it triggers damage and maybe some special effect. Can deploy 2 or 3 at once.
Final Smash has King Boo growing bigger, going translucent, and phasing in the left or right direction he was facing. Any fighters he passes through are marked and a ring chain of Boos encircles them, closes in, and they blow up for massive damage and knockback.

The idea is basically to be a character good at moving away and harassing pursuers. Making the ground dangerous, having to deal with small Boos chasing, and being hard to KO without a really good hit.

I always tried to understand what goes in the mind of a first party only fag. Is it traditionalism? Surely not, Nintendo has many crossovers and crossmedia and back in the NES and SNES days they treated many of the third party franchises in Smash like brothers and sisters.
No, the true reason is fear, is envy.
Many of these characters requested cannot enter in an even ground match, these characters didn't make it to the B and C-tiers of Nintendo for a reason, they sucked.
And now the fans of D-Tier characters relieve their nightmare within Smash brothers.
They see people caring more about Megaman than their obscure side-character of a 2D game, or caring about Banjo instead of their obscure 64 games. As it was back then, as it is in now, as it will be in the future.

Perhaps the biggest case of this is of course, Isaac. Golden Sun only survived in the GBA, where not many companies cared about making new RPGs, instead just releasing remakes. When the DS came, Square-Enix and Atlus started to be more serious about it, Dragon Quest 9 came and became the best selling third party on that console, outdoing all of Golden Sun's franchise combined sales alone, even selling a million in the west as well, what became of Golden Sun in this environment? It died, nobody cared about it anymore.
Now the Isaacfags relieve those times, they had a chance in brawl, but then the real RPG companies got into the mix, and much like the franchise could not survive in a console with actual competition, they know they cannot survive in a smash brothers with actual competition, so they want Square gone, Enix gone, Atlus gone, because the only way they can get in is by lowering the competition and removing all other real RPGs from race, not by showcasing greater quality.

I do think the roster should be rebooted, but not because of the characters, but because of the movesets. Many veterans desperately need an overhaul. The franchise has become about quantity over quality.

Many third parties are included among the classics of the NES, SNES and N64, for example.
Nintendo agrees with that sentiment too, its why the NES and SNES classic include third parties even though it would be cheaper to only do first parties.
Not even the N64, with the worst third party support of any Nintendo console, is a complete experience if you simply ignore third party games.
You may think you are a greater Nintendo fan by sticking only to first party games, but, in the greater scheme, you probably know less about Nitnendo consoles than other less retarded fans.

The only series which you can play 100% of their core library on Nintendo consoles are Megaman, Dragon Quest and Bayonetta. Even Banjo has Nuts and Bolts, which as bad as it is, is still considered a core game and not available.
I would still keep Banjo though. Only thirdies I actively want out are Snake, Cloud and Joker.

The connection with Donkey Kong, specifically Diddy Kong Racing is what makes Banjo special in that regard. Until recently it was unlikely that you'd see Banjo and Diddy together again, but you can't erase his origins being in a game with a flagship Nintendo character.
