Hitman is a niche game, it won't ever sell so much that it becomes a huge mainstream success, and I'm fine with that, as long as IO can keep pumping out games I don't care.

Splinter Cell is overrated as a series. Chaos Theory is the best game in the series, but the other games range from "meh" to just "good". Even then, Chaos Theory suffers from the usual SC problems of being extremely linear and heavily scripted.

I've heard that the old gen version of Double Agent is also really good. It has the Chaos Theory mechanics.

Hitman is fucking brilliant, 2016 and 2 were outstanding after the dumpster fire that was Absolution, but the series has never had great "stealth" and calling it a "stealth" game is as much a disservice to the games ability to literally define it's own genre as it is to actual stealth games.

Absolution is schlock rather than kino, but every other game is kino.

There's nothing kino about nuHitman's story. The games are fantastic but changing 47 into 007 and tackling the Illuminati was a bad choice. Even Absolution had it's moments.
