FFXI is almost entirely soloable.

Is this game worth a buy, OP? I've been hearing some mixed opinions.

Worth 5 bucks for sure.

Some of the best combat in an RPG with lots of customization. The real appeal is the literal hundreds of hours of gameplay. Going from one town to the next will get a dozen quests minimum, no lie. The only downside is that the story is really boring but you'll have enough fun running around and being a god in whatever way you want. It's a real shame it bankrupt an entire state though.

Emulate an offline server for Black Desert Online.
Maybe also pirate Dragon Age Inquisition.

It's like Skyrim with cartoony Fable skin and with better combat. I liked it.

Dragon's Dogma

FF14

It's the epitome of "it's ok"

It has all the ingredients to be great but is let down by a lot of minor bizarre design decisions

I liked it a lot.

PSO

Dragon's Dogma
Kingdom Come Deliverance

I found it boring as fuck. Dropped it 10 hours in.

It's a great deal of fairly average content

Probably the definitive 'single player MMO'. Good gameplay, meh story, unfortunately no replay value. Worth it on a cheap sale for sure.

FFXII

>implying
If it had the NPC system of FFXI or GW1, then I would love to play it, but as it is you are forced to play with people.

the .hack games

It had a lot of promise but just fell flat ultimately

TONS of content let down by horrible design like the goofy shield animation, not being able to jump etc.

>Going from one town to the next will get a dozen quests minimum, no lie

And 90% of them are all the same. This game is all quantity, not quality.

>or MMO's that are good to play by yourself?
SWTOR

>Kingdom Come Deliverance
>MMO
what the fuck
DD is mmo-like though

lore is pretty unique for a game I think
but it being scrapped MMO shows, just like DAI

Literally CrossCode.
