He sums up our current shit existence as a species accurately. You cannot escape the fucking BORE that is life. Even if you travel to be some weird LIVE LOVE LAUGH hipster, you'll see people all around the world are just fucking tired and bored of the chore that is living a modern human life.

So this motherfucker discovers he can maybe kill people by pushing them into a fucking TV. THAT is something new and interesting. Keep in mind he basically doesn't give a shit that he gets caught in the end and put in jail. Why would he? If Adachi was put in a realistic universe, he'd be another number in Japanese suicide statistics. Either he had fun and freedom on his own terms or he'd off himself early.

What he says about people ignoring everything around them and basically being Shadows is also true. The only reason the protagonist and friends win is because Persona is just anime, so friendship has to win over the villain even if he made sense. Adachi isn't insane, the rest of the world is for pretending to care so much.

In the end the MC fucks off anyway and the rest of the gang probably don't hang out or talk to each other, proving Adachi right anyway.
