I'm not saying Kojima isn't a hack, just that Konami is the one fucking itself over. They are sitting on some fairly huge franchises like Castlevania, Contra, and Gradius, and all they can throw together are pinball machines and the lowest tier gacha trash. That's hardly Kojima's fault.
At least they are hiring other companies to try making decent Contra games.
