If you can't get the installation to run you can just extract the data1.cab file like a normal zip archive and rename New_File to おジャ魔女.exe
also you will need to put this in the main folder or it will ask you for the CD and not run properly on newer systems

I have a question. I unzip the main folder, put the patch in the main folder, unzip de data1.cab (inside and outside) the main folder and renamed the New_File file, now what? What file do I open? setup.exe, autorun.exe, instmsia.exe, instmsiw.exe and OjamajoAdventure.msi are not working. Am I doing something wrong or I just have to open another file? Thanks.

start it from おジャ魔女.exe
you don't have to extract it in the same folder as the setup files
also the game's in japanese so you need something like applocale for it to run properly

I couldn't, I had the same issue as Do we have to unzip the Data1 outside the folder, and move all the files into the main folder except for the Data1, or the Data1 has to go in the main folder with its extracted files?
Anyway, I tried both ways and I can't run it. I downloaded and installed Locale Emulator, do I have to do something with it besides open it? Because it doesn't let me do anything.
