shill mode engaged sure, it’s free first off. The rarity of units doesn’t equate to quality, a few particular 3 star units out performs several 5 stars. You get tons of chances to gain resources and unit-rolls for free per day without having to rely on the premium currency. Gameplay looks like the included pic, and relies on different formations to pass them encouraging some experimentation. With the collab event coming up in a few days, it would be a good time to get into it imo.
