I like the gameplay and world but hate how it's shackled to a shitty and predictable plot. I also hate how R* couldn't help but get political and shoving their leftist shit into it.

Ideally the game should have had multiple characters, multiple endings, multiple routes. But instead it's all just linear shit.

Fun and neat. I like Arthur and I love the pump action shotgun

Refunded it the day after I got it. It doubled down too hard on the simulation and the whole "it was hard back then so it must be hard for the player" bullshit along with a few gameplay issues I had like being unable to defend yourself (o'driscal started a fight, I hit him, the whole town was against me) RDR1 did shit a hell of a lot better.

I like Arthur, Chapter 6, the gunplay and exploring the world but I hate the story and every other character in the game who isn't a side quest.

you dont, you get used to it, although once you get used to the input lag, it can be extremely satisfying to mow people down with the bolt action or semi auto shotgun, problem is only a few missions have this in a satisfying form

They should have just made GTA6. I'm literally playing GTAV again rather than buy some Brokeback Mountain simulator. Cowboys are by far the gayest setting for a game. A fucking desert? Horses? Old guns? Fuck that. A desert is literally defined by it's lack of interesting things.

wasnt into the story. guarma was weird. gameplay feels janky. wouldve preferred to play as John Marston from the start. love exploring in it though. last time i played i came across some random house at night, i kick down their door to kill them all, but everyone in the house was already dead, and had been dead for a while. the house was full of this weird mist shit. its cool just randomly coming across shit like this

It's fun if you approach it from the angle of it being a cowboy simulator. If you just want an open world third person shooter then this is probably gonna be too slow for you.

Complete trash. Everything about this game is stupid. The gameplay, story, characters, missions. Just mind-boggling how they had all this dev time just to pump out this turd. I beat it and never played it again. Didn't even give the online a look. Rockstar games used to be a day one purchase. Not after this.

One of the most boring games ever, the reason being the realism, I also think the game would’ve been better if they just kept the desert setting like new austin. Also if you look at horizon zero dawn it is so much better than this game because they mixed high graphic engine and fantasy element.
