In NRS games the projectiles are all way too fast, deal too much damage, deal too much chip damage, and characters have a lot of them, so they're actually a main form of combat. The way strings work in NRS games is different from in other fighting games. The way they do inputs is very different, even the NRS input reader is all kinds of fucked up. Playing an NRS game is like playing a 3D fighter in 2D.
