Was there even a game with more LICENSING PROBLEMS than NOLF?
This game was a copy of Perfect Dark
i want to tonguefuck her navel
Licensing problems and Warner Bros being cunts both. Seems like recently there's been some progress.
>Unacceptable simian casualties
KEK
Also the fucking code phrases:
>You want to come in for a game of Twister?
I remember playing at as a kid, tried replaying it but the game looks like hot garbage these days
How recent we talking? Last I checked in (a couple years ago), Night Dive tried to get to the bottom of it and Warner/Activision/that-third-licensee-holder told 'em to fuck off.
Warner threatened to sue, even though they don't even know if they have the rights or not. Those lazy fucks don't even want to spend the time or effort to see if they even have the paperwork. Fuck WB Games.
postal 2
Obviously Night Dive needs to take one for the team by just 'releasing' the game for sale and then seeing which company bothers to scramble to see who the fuck really owns it to probably delist it.
They're both available for free right now though

ND is fairly small; I don't think they have the money to spend to defend against a lawsuit like that.
Minus the malware, I'd prefer an official release which may lead to console ports as well so more people can experience NOLF1/2.
Why yes, there is.
>strong female lead who gives no fucks, doesn't need no man, kicks ass and is totally cute
>she isn't a hotbutton issue for it
what happened, gamers?
Duke3d had more soul to me. Shadow Warrior leaned too hard on stereotypical asian film/racial tropes/jokes without becoming its own thing in the process like Duke did.
That's like saying that Duke relied too much on stereotypical 80s action movie tropes.
>people want more female protagonists
>no new nolf game or remaster
I can't imagine playing NOLF on a console the way it is. They would have to seriously rework it because it would be a nightmare with a controller
The original already had a PS2 port.
She had a sexy scottish accent.
The game is basically just a Rare FPS on PC, what are you even talking about? It's not System Shock or Arma, as far as FPS goes the controls are as basic as it gets.

NOLF1 felt more like 007 Half-Life w/ a female lead to me. Never played the sequel though.
