It has wagglan, but I don't mind the wagglan. Most of the motion controls is pointer stuff, except for some mini games. I feel like the game world makes up for any complaints you could have with the motion controls though.

The Sly games aren't too hard to come by nowadays, the PS2 trilogy can be gotten for like $10 altogether and the HD Collection is only slightly more.
Sly 4 sucks, don't play it.
Also, Danganronpa should be bought on a sale. These games only seem to get more expensive for the English releases.
I'll add these as well. If you like Harvester, get I Have No Mouth (the game next to it), they're both adventure games, and by extension get RE1 and SH1, since they're basically 3D Horror-Adventure games.
And if you like the Sly games, inFamous 1 and 2 are made by the same devs, and both games feature a parkouring protag who is deathly allergic to water.

skygunner is a 3D arcade style shooting game with simple missions that usually involve killing a specific target, defending one, and each thing you fight has unique requirements to satisfy in order to earn bonuses. You upgrade your ship by meeting those requirements and the game encourages you to go for chain kills & combos to spend less on supplies during battle.
Omegaboost is a lot simpler but is a high speed 3D shooter by the creators of gran turismo. It is a very satisfying game to play with a focus on boosting in combat, painting targets like panzer dragoon and dodging shots in 3D space. It's a visual spectacle.

skygunner (3D shooter), umihara kawase, elevator action returns, pirates vikings and knights 2, cotton boomerang, panzer dragoon saga, bulk slash (3D shooter), and omega boost (3D shooter). Play the panzer dragoon series for more 3D shooting, zwei is widely considered the best in the genre. Panorama Cotton is a great 3D shooter for genesis. PDS is a more technical game with a far more minimalist story. Earthbound is a bit too sensory overload tied together with supbar game play and missed potential in with the rolling HP system. I think there's only one enemy that is built to engage effectively with it, it wasn't done well until Mother 3. PDS is one of the few RPGs where utter failure in combat can be flipped into a complete massacre of your enemies with a bit of tweaking to your strategy and the game is constantly pushing you to change strategies and understand how enemies work by increasing rewards in combat based on performance. It's a brilliant game with a brilliant soundtrack that the pastiche and cynical earthbound can't touch.

Earthbound is a game that gets high off its own farts. Far too indulgent for me, I don't care to have my time wasted by it and probably will never go back to it again. PDS I can see myself replaying soon, it's only 20 hours to 100% it and it is remarkably fun. I don't see how it can't grab somebody with how lightning fast its pacing is.
