>finally mined to the lowest level
what the fuck I'm supposed to do now.
This game is shit, SHIT
Finally mined to the lowest level
beat the wall of flesh you pussy
Kill bosses, retard
tell me why this game is fun again?
mine the ore down there and then come back here and complain that the ore is fighting back
there are no bosses there, only lava
>what the fuck I'm supposed to do now.
Install Calamity of course.
Lmao, retarded retard, stop being so retarded, you retard
F*cking retard
Every time I try to get into this game, I find myself wondering what the fuck am I supposed to do.
...
apparently it gets good after 100 hours, you just wait
I cheated and played with people who know what to do
How do I even find them? I just run into zombies.
Tangible progression. There are constant upgrades to your mobility and destructive capabilities. Once you find your first Cloud in a Bottle or Hermes' Boots you're well on your way from being a bitch who can barely run and jump to being a flying Spider-man crossed with the Flash.
when
Talk to guide, build some houses, talk to NPCs that move in
those glowing altars underground can be used to create items to summon bosses, the first boss is a giant eyeball and you need to use several lenses dropped by the smaller eyeballs to summon him
It's a sandbox, do what you want.
Pick an interesting region and explore. Search for loot, look for new monsters, events, etc. Build a home, make it fancy or functional, what ever you prefer.
The game has plenty to do, it just doesn't grab you by the hand and drag you down any intended path.
or just wait, it attacks on the 7th night or some shit too
>try to beat this game on hardcore mode
>die to random shit ive never seen EVERY time
FUCKKK
Sounds sexy. Best do it on hard mode?
just got to hardmode on my current playthrough. oh boy.
we should have a Yea Forums server again. i'd love a vanilla expert one (maybe with server side characters)
I cheated by watching Youtubers.
TB/Jesse Terraria is still one of the best series ever.
>play it safer and safer
>feel the game laughing at you as you're only building up more risk
There are mods like boss checklist wich inform you on your next objective.
Beat a bunch of bosses to get cool toys and then beat the wall of flesh so that you get even cooler toys and then beat some more bosses and then beat the final boss to win the game
Calamity is made by an autistic depressed literal brony who has a tendency to shit up everything
>boss dialogue is edgy awkward shit
>developer specifically made a ton of small updates so he could claim his mod got a million downloads (updates in tmodloader are considered downloads)
>has gone and isolated himself on a circlejerk discord server to avoid criticism, regularly has meltdowns
When I went there for a while he was in the middle of another meltdown because people would post offtopic stuff in the general chat (which is apparently a general chat for the mod)
>balancing is off the rails which is why it's not advised to take this mod with any other mod that contributes more but is still generally bloat like Thorium
>some in-community drama among composers or some shit I dunno
The implied true final boss, Yharim, is your typical edgelord with a shitty past (he and his family were thrown into lava by his corrupt brother and he was rescued by his pet dragon), and Calamitas herself pulls out a "it's a hologram" when you beat her post-hardmode version, you weren't fighting the REAL Calamitas
>hate-boner for fishing, one of the earliest mod bosses drops fishing gear
There's more dumb shit like some crafting trees and how much you gotta get for those, look at the omniblade ingredients and what they require and so on, and the boss that drops ingredients directly has to be farmed to make one Omniblade
any porn of the harpies
what the fuck is corruption?
It gets good 800 hours in.
>he admits to going on Discord
Discord is just a platform.
I NEED THE UPDATE TO COME OUT RIGHT NOW GOD DAMN IT FUCK FUCK FUCK
>almost that time to go challenge expert mode skeletron
Fuck off Fagsol
Play Thorium instead
I remember when expert mode first came out, it was mostly smooth sailing until i encountered plantera and struggled for a few days. The worst part was constantly having to go get tons of potions for every single bossfight.
It helps to play with friends. I've never played a minute of this game alone
Honestly imo it's comfy to play terraria solo, just listen to a podcast in the background and relax by doing some mindless tasks like grinding for some rare drops.
>waaaah wheres the journal with the objectives list and the quest marker
You're not the target audience. Some people are starters, you are a follower. You need someone to follow you through things, while others can create their own goals
>friends
everything is fun with friends
I used to play DF though.
Waiting for the hunger update.
