What a fucking time to be alive. Now instead of using games as your method of getting away from the stress of daily life, you'll have to use another hobby to get away from video games. It's almost as if they want you to ditch the hobby and migrate into another one, until it gets so popular that they try to pull this shit again. Hopefully by that time they'll have left video games and people use games as a method to escape their new hobby.

Find devs who wouldnt mind spreading a message, who also have a passion for games. Make the message the over all message of the game, but not something that's thrown around alot. Subnautica's lack of guns, Braid's nuke ending, ect.

They don't understand that a change in the average results in a more extreme change in the tail when it comes to temperature, and you only need a few days of catastrophic temperatures to kill animals and crops. They also don't understand the ramifications of having millions of climate refugees knocking on your door for local geopolitics. They also don't understand that climate change is only part of the problem, being the way human beings have been thinking about and using their environment since the advent of capitalism (although some argue that it could back to the agricultural revolution of the Neolithic), and that I could spend the evening listing all the other sub-issues that go alonside it.
You can't really talk seriously about global warming and all that shit without looking like a radical nutjob to the bluepilled cornucopian normie that has no idea there's a currently ongoing massive extinction of species on this planet.

That's currently true but it's actually expected that developing nationns will switch to being carbon neutral much faster since they can just implement green infanstructrure as they develop, vs western nations where our infanstructure is all already set up and switching over is more of a hassle and politics get involved.

China is also one of the fatest improving countries.

That is true my friend. Personaly, I believed we're already screwed since avoiding any tiping point (2° for instance) would require a major change in lifestyles that the average 1st-worlder fag would not accept. Not eating meat and taking the plane anymore would go a long way in reducing emissions. Using blankets in winter instead of heating the whole house, using phones for 6 years instead of 2-3, redeveloping local economies etc .. Things like these are achievable on the individual/ communal scale if one is really determined, but doesn't mean jackshit if corporations and capital are still allowed to rampage freely. Change has to come both from the top and the bottom and will involve sweat and tears (and then very possibly blood). The enemy is both ourselves, the institutions we have built, and even the growth worshiping religion we have made for ourselves. You could make a neat videogame out of it. Something metaphorical with a twist in the vein of Yoko Taro games with a loy of diagetic elements. It'd be probably called pretentious by some fags here but who cares honestly.
