Probably the best rpg ever made. Definetely better than the first one. Now imagine if they weren't forced to rush it and finished it as intended. Wow.

No. Its my favorite game of all time, completed vanilla probably 4 or 5 times and TSLRCM around 4 more times, currently on the 5th playthrough of that, but its barely a functional game. Its an alpha phase of development asset flip. Peragus feels like the only complete part of the game
>Peragus feels like the only complete part of the game
Opinion discarded
underage WEE WOO ME WAN LIGHTSABEH dicklet with no objective analysis or critical thinking skills spotted
>underage
I wish. Peragus is the shitiest part of the game aside from "Restored Content".
Why so mad i your opinion had any merrit? It didn't have any
>Probably the best rpg ever made
Fallout 2 thread?
Because Peragus is the only part of the game that is complete, anyone with a brain and any capacity to use it can look at the way the mission at peragus is crafted, how it flows and how it even introduces mechanics that were supposed to be relevant throughout the game like sensing danger or getting hints of it from Atton. Every subsequent planet and mission is a half finished asset flip of npc.s standing around and running back and forth between a few rooms
>Tutorial level
>Liniar to the marrow
>Even this level is borrowing from KotOR
>Has mods made just to skip it
Truly complete experience, with such a narrow scope and little to no choice it's more like visual novel.
Peragus is the worst part of the game.
the mods are there to pander to the audience, you should probably stick to kotor 1 or something more of that speed since kotor 2 is obviously not the game for you
>hehe linear
yes, as opposed to completely linear quests in tiny asset flip hubs where you run back and forth to complete said quests with zero variance. Peragus is the only complete part of the game, its actually relevant to the story and its a big, well designed and polished quest
>From other news, will Yea Forums ever stop shilling this average game? See more at 6.
>Obsidian
>finishing the game
>Now imagine if they weren't forced to rush
It's Obsidian, it would still be a buggy unfinished mess
Don't get me wrong KotOR2 is my favourite obsidian game, BUT their games have same flaws as Troika games, they needed more time for polish. Gamebreaking bugs, performance issues, cut content.
Still Kotor1 is just NWN in star wars universe, Kotor2 had many more unique characters and that made that game great.
Name three (3) unfinished Obsidian games.
What was his tax policy?
>Name any Obsidian game.
FTFY
Peragus is the ultimate pleb filter.
>Restored content
>M4-78
What the FUCK where they thinking??
New Vegas
Alpha protocol
kotor 2 of course
Newerwinter 2
This part killed my playthrough, good they didn't leave it in game.
>bruh let's restore EVERYTHING
>Probably the best rpg ever made.
no.
seriously, not at all.
> Definetely better than the first one.
an easy feat.
Yeah I nearly dropped it there, it's optional when you install the mod, but once you've started it there's no way out without completing it.
I followed a guide and it still took me about 3 hours
>You are this bad ass with flashy skills, let's take them all away, oh and you are a trash can now.
Traveling between locations in this part is the worst
This happens again with Chewbaka2 or RedheadBitch part.
Games that have flaws but you love them non the less are the best.
I'd say M4-78 is probably the worst piece of electronic entertainment i've ever encountered, the design is mind-bogglingly bad
M4-78 isnt "restored content" and it isnt actually included in the restored content mod, its a completely separate mod and its practically completely fanmade. If you unironically thought you were playing some "restored" piece of the full game you were 100% wrong because the planet was cut so utterly early in development that practically zero assets let alone any type of content existed for it
I didn't think or say that, it's just packaged with the restored content mod and there's no indication it's going to be total shit and unskippable when you install that.
Even out of fanmade mods that i've played, it's still the worst thing i've ever had the misfortune to have to play.
>it's just packaged with the restored content mod
certainly didnt come with mine
>Better than the first one
t. Obese incel that can't see his penis over his bulging gut
Dunno when you last played it, my last playthrough was 2016 and it was an optional add-on in the installer for it
not a month ago, i tried to make Yea Forums pitch in ideas for a RPG with no bullshit
the 2 threads didnt last 14 minutes
therefor Yea Forums has absolutely no right or strength to say shit about any rpg or a game in general EVER
Or you just fucking suck at making threads
>best rpg ever made
>Even buggier than Bethesda games
>Disc version actually will not function on post-XP OS's
agreed OP
it was comfy, though I actually like the story and characters of the first one. shame lucasfilm released kotor II in a too early buggy state in an age of no updates for consoles
nothing caters to faggots, i know
shove it up your ass and complain, its all you ever do
Good ranking. I'd remove Solo because it's pretty dull besides that small bit where Solo is fighting for the Empire
>Better than the first one
imagine having such bad taste
I went from loving Empire the most as a kid to loving New Hope as a teen, then going back to Empire again when I rewatched it several years alter.
Otherwise it's fine, but I might swap Rogue One with AotC.
RIP
what is it about 7 and 8 that inspire such autism?
Like, do people *really* think that they're worse than Attack of the Clones? the fat asian girl is that much worse than JarJar?
this
at least you get to have intercourse with a woman in the first
in the second, only the robot mentions it while everyone is edging out into an edgelord faggot turnbased aids chaser faggot so you can defeat 3 lone lightsabers while the old nana spouts shit and leaves you choices that dont mean shit because the game is done
More like the most overrated rpg ever made.
Take what you want, disregard the weak
Take what you NEED and then disregard everyone else, the strong will follow if they are strong indeed
>left
soulless
>right
soul
Yes and perhaps.
AotC spawned a myriad of amazing games and EU.
The fat chink wouldn't have been so bad had a fucking third of the film not been dedicated to her ridiculous and irrelevant subplot. She fucking made Finn a worse character by having him stuck with her and he had been pretty alright in the previous film. Jar Jar may be shit, but he's rarely in the spotlight and isn't even relevant in II and III
>AotC spawned a myriad of amazing games and EU.
That has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the film itself and everything to do with LucasArts being at peak output in the early 00's.
I'm sure there could be good Star Wars games if EA didn't have the licence
>better than the first one
I can read this, can you?
This is why such things need to be worked in secrecy and upon completion rapidly distributed to several platforms so it's impossible to shut it down™.
Saying this while Citadel station exists.
It's all mooka shakka baga to me.
both those early levels suck
why is Taris so perfect?
Not even the best KOTOR game.
PURE PAZAAK
It's okay, but man Darth no mouth and co are pretty fucking lame
the antagonists from kotor II were also rather weak
Sion, Nihilus, and Traya are the best star wars villains in the history of star wars, incel.
anticlimactic end to them all, the only one that really had any character was the old woman
>Sion
muh hate
>Nihilus
i eat planets bro
>Traya
i'll chastise you about everything
How can you expect an immortal and a dude that can kill entire planets to end?
>optional
Hmmmmmmmm......
KotoR2 is the best 1/2 of a game ever made, even unfinished it is head and shoulders above most games and deserves a spot in gaming history
Chrono Trigger is the best rpg ever made, but even half of KotoR2 comes close to overtaking it
I envy the denizens of the alternate timeline where this game was released in 2005
Also Visas is best waifu don't @ me
The visual design of the prequel trilogy is fantastic, brought in new ideas, and had clear evolution of technology into the OT. The sequel trilogy rehashes old designs and simply states they are more advanced, despite RotJ showing advancement over ANH ships. Rogue One at least provided a cool new MonCal design.
>Chrono Trigger is the best rpg ever made
>haha I'll call him a brainlet that's a good trick!
What's your contender then?
>The visual design of the prequel trilogy is fantastic,
literally almost everything about the prequels except the dialogue is fantastic. George is a storyteller, not a "writer". The dialogue alone is a weak link in the prequels and you could literally preserve the exact same scenes, simply change the dialogue and end up with something great. Someone has already experimented with this (even if its also a more comprehensive fan made recut) with the blackened mantle

Two way tie between Fallout 2 and Morrowind.
reductionist logic is just that not an argument, name anything and it can be reduced to its simplest base but that's it look up the Socratic method that's ancient thinking, you don't even realize you're adding nothing or you don't care which means you are worth less than nothing
if you had to chose it would be fallout 2 right?
oh God one of those people...
sry muh dude but Chrono Trigger is best JRPG of all time followed by Trails
suck it goon fgt
Probably. In terms of sheer scope of roleplaying, the only game that surpasses it is Arcanum, but Arcanum has too many problems that hold it back from being better than it.
Morrowind is pretty close for its lore building and emergent gameplay systems, but I find myself replaying Fallout 2 more.
Fallout 2 is really good but Fallout 1 is a better rpg
And it is my second choice after Chrono Trigger
I regret to say I haven't played any Elder Scrolls game yet
Exactly, they touched on the darkest parts of human nature.
that's not how you spell Telos
in theory it was a good idea since they knew what was planned for Lonna Vash and they had a few bits and pieces like the dialogue between her and the Exile. But obviously since they had to make 95% of it themselves it really isn't that good (honestly they should've made if like 1/10th of the size and that alone would bump it up several grades in my book)
I don't disagree, at least in general, but my point was that iconic visual and sound design lends itself to expansion, where its more difficult for
>X-Wing but better in some vague way that isn't demonstrable
to spark creative derivative works.
Podracer was a surprisingly solid racing game, especially the arcade version with individual engine control, solely built upon the concept and visual design of podracers.
