Thanos had the white glowing iris thing as his main trademark. So when he'd want to look scary one of his irises would flicker and light up. It was pretty much his main trademark in the early comics until they just kinda made him look boring later.
In the early comics (and in his best arcs) his eyeholes would be darkened and would only light up in certain moments which would make him look like a living skeleton. The reason for this was because of his literal Nihilism, his literal "love" for the personification of Death.
The MCU ruins it by giving him human looking eyes. They did originally intend to keep the nihilism motive as shown by the Avengers post-credits, but they removed it because reasons.

It's a shame, the comic was going well and good until that moment, he was a fucking unstoppable killing machine and then it gets taken away through sheer stupidity. I think the sequel arc Infinity War is way better but I only read Gauntlet.

He endured blasts of incredible energy from Tony Stark, he's not going to be damaged by any random bullets for example so characters relying on guns are out. He's shown he's susceptible to extreme amounts of physical force, but you'd have to be someone comically strong like Goku to be able to go toe to toe with him and come out on top.

If we're assuming that with all 6 stones he doesn't have the ability to make anything he wants happen, and can only use each of the stones to their individual maximum skill, the vastest number of characters are still up shit creek without a paddle. I'd guess all the characters in your list could do it minus Ryu, but only if we give them immunity to random shit like being unmade by the Reality stone. My litmus test would simply be, can they survive a moon falling on them, and are they strong enough to potentially destroy celestial bodies. If so, they have a chance.

No one really stood a chance to him without the stones, except for Captain Marvel really (which I always thought was bullshit since her power was incredibly forced and had no build up whatsoever). Also Scarlet fucking Witch. And possibly Dr. Strange too, but we never got to see him fight Thanos without the gauntlet. Also pre-Endgame Thor with the Stormbreaker could've killed him but that was more the power of the ax than anything. For everyone else, he was just toying with them.

I don't know man, Stark was able to cut a drop of blood out of him, which doesn't seem like much, but remember MCU Iron Man was much weaker than he was in the comics too, and he was just a man in pretty decent shape wearing the most advanced power armor on MCU Earth, which wasn't that crazy compared to a lot of stuff you see in vidya.

Characters like Dante, Nero, and Bayonetta can charge their guns with demonic energy, making them much, much stronger. We don't know how much stronger exactly, but they're certainly enough to harm powerful demons or angels. Not to mention they all have very, very impressive physical strength as well and a host of other abilities.

Nah, MCU Thanos was definitely weaker than that. He couldn't do shit to Captain Marvel without the Power Stone and even she wasn't shit to any high-level DBZ character.

Eh, OP didn't specify with the stones, so I wrote my post based on without them. WITH the stones is a whole different story but even those were nerfed compared to the comic book counterparts. With the IG, I'd say Dante, MAYBE Vergil and Nero, prime Kratos, and Bayonetta stand a chance, but not the rest.

i never watched the movies, but in the comic, thanos with the full gauntlet could literally just remove people from existence if he willed it, and the only reason he let people fight him was his ego.

Honestly, I don't even like GoW, but it's not like Thanos is especially agile or mobile in terms of movement outside of close-quarters combat. And even then, he's not that fast. He's more of a tank really. I'd say Kratos with all his abilities is definitely more agile than him and with the Blades of Whatever, plus magic and stuff, he can definitely fight him off from a decent distance. This is assuming he doesn't have the IG though.
