You need a big community all fighting each other and figuring out tech to get an accurate tier list, and I don't really know if Kyanta has that yet. I was at EVO last year. It was fun as hell (mainly due to being in Vegas), but I can't afford to go every year. I got eliminated in pools anyway, so it's not like I'll ever get to top 8.

I mean, I figure a good portion of the people who were in the previous threads were NA or otherwise in a timezone where they couldn't really stay up to watch. And if they weren't they might not even know about the anime streams and shit going on today. One of my friends is AUS, and he only barely got up to watch SCVI top 8 and the UNI top 8 qualifiers. He's trying to stay up to catch the UNI finals, and that's still 3 and a half hours from now.
I got like 6 hours of sleep so I'm good for today, but I probably won't be around all day like I was.

Smash, Samsho, and DBFZ (for a given value of "not dead") are all super easy

We'll see, Tam Tam and Galford players have shown to be more skilled on average, there were really too many amateurs who hoped to get carried by Genjurilla and got BTFO.
ET also mains Tam Tam so I expect him to weed out more Genjuro players as he's on a whole other level compared to most other participants in this tournament, we also have a few good Hanzo players who can be wild cards and iirc quite a few Haohmaru players were pretty good.
I also forgot that many Charlotte players made it, we'll have to look out for those too.

Tag stuff can take a bit to learn if you never played Marvel or Tekken Tag or whatever, but the main thing that's hard about FighterZ is that pressure is really strong. It's the easiest tag fighter you'll play. Not a bad game to pick up if you want to learn the genre.

18 with a lockdown assist and a solid neutral/string assist like Videl's sounds pretty good, but 18 definitely requires knowledge of her setups and combos, and Videl has to use Saiyaman effectively but has good mixups. Gotenks is fantastic with a great assist. Broly is cool as fuck but not a good anchor. He likes beam assists and assists that let him either combo in the corner or just dominate neutral even more.

Just FYI if you install livestreamer you need to obtain your twitch account's API key, because started requiring authentification on it some years ago. I still use an ancient build of livestreamer where you had to put that manually into some configuration file, and I'm not aware if the application ever got updated since then.
