I have a 3 used gyro phones setup of which 2 are my controllers that cost me around 20% of what the actual setup would cost, thanks VRidge.

i've played euro truck sim 2 in vr with the steering wheels and pedals. my problem was that the resolution was quite low on the oculus rift so it was difficult reading the spedometer and satnav, but everything else about it was amazing.

it has a lot games that i wouldn't mind playing, it's just that it needs to be cheap, wireless, open-platform, and comfortable to wear in any position, laying down, standing up, sitting down, etc, able to use it offline even from setup/installation.

until all of those things come togheter i am not buying into VR, it's not the games, some VR games or games played in VR seems interesting as heck, but it's not meeting all my requirments

I'm waiting for a polished headset. I like the new oculus that only required one cable and can room scale from sensors inside the headset instead of having to buy additional radio towers. I'll probably pick up the next generation of headsets that come out in 2020

Nimso Ny's working a physics engine with a lot of promise. He's got a demo that's off brand spiderman and it's great.

In 3 years we went from the Vive to the Index. I think we'll see some strides get made for haptic feedback. Not just for sex games, but combat sports and adventure stuff.

The problem with VR porn is twofold.
1. It's a quadriplegic simulator. You can neither feel nor move
2. Perspective and projection around you makes her into a giantess. I like my ladies tall, but my tastes max out at about 5'10" so getting molested by a 12' whore is not arousing.

Fallout 4 is objectively the best way and only way to actually enjoy fallout. The gunplayu in vanilla sucks but since you can lean and actually aim in VR its actually good now. Also all the mods werk so its nice to have all female NPCs with big tiddies in VR.

Yeah but FO4 sucks anyways. Shame Skyrim occupies the same space as Blade and Sorcery. Solo indie dev shits all over Bethesda.

Doesn't help that games are rereleased as VR ports, instead of being part of the regular package, like what DOOM did.

It does bother me that the VR version of a game is often completely separate. If they are going to sell the VR mode separately, it should just be a DLC expansion. I would accept that since it is potentially a decent amount of extra work that will be sold to a relatively small user base.

I bought the Odyssey+ and returned it within a month. I did the same with the Rift S. It is fun but I can see myself getting bored with it after a few months given how there is still no killer app. I played dozens of games on the system but they are all lacking in some area. Maybe I will purchase the Rift S again after boneworks and valve's VR games launch.
