Everyone on earth has fucking ADD at this point. I know YOU'RE joking, but people genuinely use that to defend him, and I'm sure he's used it too. It's bullshit. I was diagnosed with ADHD as a child, which is like ADD's cokehead older brother, but I got over it because I wasn't babied for it. It's not a disorder, it's a behavior, and behavior can change.

That's fine. I don't care that someone doesn't like a game I like - hell that's barely even the case, I beat OoT once and never got around to it again - I just hate dishonesty and plain stupidity.

Take GoW 2018 and Oney - he hates that game and the reasons he gave were completely fair and justified, and I even agree with him on his points, although it's easily one of my favorite games of all time.

I should clarify a lot of these issues clear up once you pass a certain point but he dislikes that it's slow-paced and very heavily focused on story, and (for the beginning hours of the game) it's basically on rails. I agree completely that the opening hours of the game leave a very bad impression if you don't have time to really commit to the game, which he doesn't.

And that first one was me for a long time. I still have trouble focusing on something for an extended period of time but I learned to live with it; as long as I do something with my hands and I'm not staring at something that doesn't move or change, I'll be fine.

Oh, I personally don't mind that, I can give games from an hour to two to get things going. A lot of people like to meme Sonic like hold right to win, but the thing is that it applies exclusively to Green Hill Zone, the level that teaches ypu about movement and physics of the game. I overall prefer slowly starting games over games that start with a blast and then just burn out like a Netflix Original. God of War definitely could've handled it better though cause it's a problem when start of the game is a bit clashing with rest of experience.
