What's wrong with LoL artstyle? Sure, it's kind of low poly on many champions but it has improved a lot since then. It's colorful and has quite a lot of details (the map is by far the most gorgeous map of all moba, and the thing is, it never changed once since the game's release compared to DotA who balance the map for some reason) and it's a top down game so why would you particularly care about the graphic so much?

As for gameplay, someone who is the defensive lynchpin of the team. I don't play overwatch either, but someone equivalent to Reinhardt is what I like to play most in team based games.

The problem with League's itemization is that it opted for the retarded AP vs AD scaling system, which basically forces you into build paths based on stats, first and foremost and utility second. Why would I ever need an item with an interesting ability that will help me 30% of the time, if I can pick up a dumb statstick that I'll see the benefit from 100% of the time? People buy the same exact items every game because stat cost-efficiency dictates which items are good and which aren't.
