>yfw pther players names show up
I never got why people say this. was it not obvious after the first 5 seconds that it was a real person for everyone?
>when you had one player stick with you till the end
nope. in fact everyone says it because it was a huge shock to everyone
>is internet connection two thirds through
>will never get to tell partner I would have gone with them to the end
*lose internet connection
I bought it on day 1 and I knew going in that it was co-op because the store page tells you it's multiplayer.
Anyway the game is really just "ok". The platforming is mostly rudimentary, it's real short for the pricetag, and the multiplayer is actually a detriment to the experience a mojority of the time. Other players love pointing out all the hidden elements, turning the game more into a guided tour than a "Journey". Meanwhile the only pay off for the multiplayer is the trek through the snow for THAT part. I guess it looks and sounds good though.
I recently bought and played through Hob. A game you never see anyone talking about ever, but it's more of an actual game, more bang for your buck playtime wise, and basically on par in visual direction and sound.
Is there a Yea Forums list of PRETENTIOUS VIDEO GAMES ARE ART GAMES that are actually good like Journey and Okami?
>Hob
What's this?
>playing through with someone
>fall off cliff back down to start of snow area
>bleep? :(
>they bloop and jump down with me to redo the snow area so we can stay together
>get to the waterfalls
>get separated
>i arrive at the top
>they're not there yet
>i wait
>game must have disconnected them because we separated
>eventually i have to finish the game by myself
I waited for you.
Thanks for reminding me to play Journeyboi
>when one name shows up but you don't remember seeing anybody
I'm sure you could have just Googled it
I also liked Rime more than Journey
>you will never play journey for the first time again
same thing happened to me
[spioler]how many years ago was this for you user[/spoiler]
When it had just come out on PS3
So when’s Sky coming to PC and consoles? Already tried it out on iOS and it’s top comf desu fampai
It might've been me then
Not that I know of. Monument Valley is fun, if short. I’ve been wishing for a port away from phones for years.
>Same player guided me to all the hidden glyphs to unlock the white cloak.
Do people unironically enjoy walking simulators?
>have one player who has stuck through me through most of the game
>we are trudging through a blizzard, and must keep close together to stay warm
>suddenly a dragon appears and starts stalking us
>we try to run for cover but are rammed and sent flying
>I recover and look around for my friend
>I see him a couple of yards away from me laying in the snow
>he doesnt get up
I'm sorry I couldnt save you bro. I swear that I finished the game in your honor in that very sitting. Never forget.
But user, Journey is unironically the only walking simulator of any merit whatsoever. You should play it.
This is why i wasn't too bummed I lost my companion. They were spoiling the game for me because they already beat it
I unironically enjoyed Journey
Journey is a really good graphics tech demo
>companion draws a heart around you in the snow >lose him halfway up the mountain
I put hours and hours into Flower, and it's basically a tech demo
in this one you walk with another person tough, that sets it apart from others walking simulators
The game should included weapons so you can kill other players if you want
Ok this is cringe
>Don't come across anyone
>Three names show up in the end
>spoiling
It's just glyphs nigga
>snow level
>know about chirping recharging scarfs
>keep hugging the other while chirping to keep them warm
>they keep fucking off of me
Bloodborne coming in feb
>companion draws a heart in the snow at the end
>can't see it
>he keeps drawing hearts in the snow
>don't understand, why is he gesticulating instead of going ahead
>walk around randomly all over his drawings
>goes on for 10minutes
>what the fuck is he doing
>finish game
>it hits me
Why are indie shitlickers so impressed by basic netcoding?
Nothing confirmed other than it's happening yet. I saw something about the android release being finalized so you'll be able to play it on an emulator or something pretty soon.
Why are you so gay?
>Partner starts drawing hearts
>Don't notice and walk over it
>He goes for it again
>I finish his heart on accident and realize
I think I still have it recorded on my PS4
>no argument or even an excuse
>Finishing the game with someone
>That sunset scene
>The entire soundtrack
Is Abzu anywhere near as good?
no, abzu is very shallow except when you go into the deep water and it gets spooky
It's not the same honestly i'd say only an aquarium fetishist could truly enjoy Abzu.
On the other hand if you love aquariums then you'll love Abzu.
Because the implementation creates some of the most wholesome experiences you'll ever have
At least it’s coming. I really liked the expanded social aspect and mtx didn’t seem necessary to enjoy the game at all, unless you really want to pimp out your character that is
>decide to grab my ass and go explore
>all the way down
>isn't there a shark in this area?
>it gets murky
>it gets darker and murkier
>i hope there isn't something alive down here
>like the giant shark from earlier
>explore for collectibles on the sea bed
>there's fucking nothing there
FUCK
THE SEA
and everything in it fuck the sea.
It's boring, basic bitch shit though? I get more wholesome experiences from playing actually good games
It was utter shit. Just say it instead of walking on eggshells like a faggot.
>he doesn't know
youtu.be
Who cares if it's simplistic,. the end result is what matters, and it's really good
Why are you such a faggot?
It's not good, it's extremely boring and the extreme simplicity of it is the main reason why

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT
NaissanceE is pretty nice for the locations/atmosphere - game bit not so much
it's free now iirc
I played this for the first time last night and it was shockingly good for a mobile game.
Almost made me want to buy an iPad so I could play it without the battery draining on my phone.
