Have you ever been to a card shop with people playing or an arcade of geeks.
Those guys are like huge children who not only not shower or practice good hygiene of any kind. They don’t even workout.

Go to literally any Smash tournament (or any fighting game tournament really) and tell me OP is lying. I think in all of my time gaming, the only tourneys that didn't have smelly people were the DDR ones, which is ironic when you think about it.

A local shop I used to go to decided to host a smash tourney. The owners have their gfs work the counter sometimes or just hang out, so they don't let creepy dudes or smelly people hang around. The day of the tournament the shop smelled horrible. Like, this place is super clean and doesn't have an odor. It only took a group of people that don't frequent the shop to have the tournament shut down before it even began.

I shower multiple times a day, op. Then again, I'm not a competitive smash player, but if the temperature outside or in a room is above 75 degrees F, I'm sweating bullets. Even worse if there's low wind or any kind of humidity at all. I'll literally start dripping sweat, my skin gets all slimy and I soak my shirt and hair. I feel every bead of sweat slide down my back, straight into my butt crack. Wiping quarts of moisture off my forehead every ten seconds like I'm condensating. Heat is fucking disgusting, I want another ice age.

I'm going to be honest I only shower once a week now just because how much it waste my time. I started this when Joker was released.
Adjusting my time for more lab has improved my skill at the game immensely and I now main joker because of it.
It isn't any of your business OP if I shower on a consistent basis or not.
If I had a choice I would choose not to shower at all but unfortunately we get headaches from not showering in so long.
Its a waste of time and I rather lab characters.

Personally, I just prefer baths. They are very relaxing and helps to calm my nerves, plus, it feels like I get to more of my body that way. I take close to 3 baths a day. That's why I don't shower.

I don't remember exactly but basically the organizers of a major smash tournament recommended people wear deodorant and shower in the bathrooms their hotels rooms come with. Basically someone replied that it "wasn't fair to people who couldn't afford to take daily showers" and it went viral for a while. I think it was on Twitter. I thought that's what meant by shower disadvantage or whatever.
