It's ok when Japan does it

It is though
everytime, because Japan does it right
God of War 4 is a much, much shorter and smaller experience than Yakuza 6, and Yakuza has many alternative and optional routes.
God of War: 30% of game = cutscenes (20 hours of gameplay, 6 hours of cutscenes)
Yakuza: 10% of game = cutscenes (100+ hours of gameplay, 10 hours of cutscenes)
Therefore you are a retard.
It is. Because there's a large difference between gameplay AND cutscenes. And cutscenes disguised as ''gameplay''. Do you think quicktime events are gameplay too?
>God of War: 30% of game = cutscenes (20 hours of gameplay, 6 hours of cutscenes)
>Yakuza: 10% of game = cutscenes (100+ hours of gameplay, 10 hours of cutscenes)
user you're hilarious
Those numbers are wrong.
I mean... Kind of? Most times anyway.
>It is. Because there's a large difference between gameplay AND cutscenes. And cutscenes disguised as ''gameplay''. Do you think quicktime events are gameplay too?
But here's the problem yakuza has all of that
Flipping through dialog isn't a cutscene. You're still in control of when the next line appears through button presses. A cutscene in a video game is when you take away all control from the player.
not an argument
>Sony's flagship series aimed at braindead bros has a bigger userbase than Sega's niche weebshit
COLOR ME SHOCKED
My patience for the Yakuza games has kind of wore out as I got older. I kinda got to a point in both 0 and 6 where I was doing all of the side content because I didn't want to sit through yet another 20+ minute cutscene.
Using that shitty great logic yakuza is less of a game than gow4
>Comparing a video with 7 million views to one with 29k
Jesus you're dumb
In a way it's more of a VN than GoW, but at the same time these are 2 games that really can't be compared.
I'm comparing the amount of cutscenes nothing else
>yakuza has more cutscenes than xenoblade
wtf?
>gets proven wrong
>t-those numbers are wrong
holy shit you are pathetic hahaha
hahaha
You are going to try and play of your stupidity as being an epic troll aren't you?
Your not. You are just a fucking moron.
Nice spergout, kill yourself
That hit home huh? Poor stupid you.
>braindead interactive movie players can't finish a game
>weebs on their 6th entry of a game.
>He's still sperging out
>Linear game
>6 hours of cutscenes
>All Cutscenes
>All Cutscenes Gameplay
There's your answer.
You didn't prove me wrong. All you did is post a false screenshot of wrong playtime numbers. Obviously if you use the wrong numbers then my argument falls apart.
If you use the real, correct playtime numbers my argument stands.
god of onions has NO business having almost 6 hrs of cutscenes. it's supposed to be mindless violence, so the sappy attempt at a story comes off as cringe instead.
zoomers don' t even know what a cutscene is. they count in game models just talking as a cutscene
>Maybe if I make up false scenarios my point will get proven!
>All Cutscenes
>All Cutscenes Gameplay
nibba you dumb
damn i sure do wonder what this GAMEPLAY is doing in this "all cutscenes" vide... HEY WAIT A MINUTE
learn to fucking read, jesus
But 3 has just as many cutscenes compared to its length.
youtube.com
GoW video is the same, includes gameplay moments tied to the story
>god of onions has NO business having almost 6 hrs of cutscenes
it has every business having 6 hours of cutscenes. Do you know what the goal of the original GoW was? It was to make a movie in the form of a game
why are they wrong? because you say so? go look it up if you dont believe me, retard.
Based OP dabbing on retard subhuman weebs
This happens with all games, I watched the Injustice video because I couldn't be bothered to play the game but still wanted to see what happens
shit
TLoU movie version on youtube was much more enjoyable than actually playing the game.
When people call a game cinematic, it is usually an umbrella term for a streamlined cleaned up experience trying its best to pretend its not a video game, with shallow mechanics, a rather lack of respect for the player, and above all else thinking its better than its genre because its telling a story.
wrong, the best part of TLoU was the multiplayer. the third person shooter mechanics are good too in single player. The generic zombie plot and enemy AI were the weakest aspects
Oh I'm sure the page exists, but just because the page exists doesn't mean the numbers are correct.
There are plenty of flat earth pages that I could link that show a bunch of numbers, too, but that doesn't mean they're right.
Just because a page is real doesn't mean the numbers on it are accurate, dude.
It was generic chest high wall simulator with crafting #2716
>Izuny Yakuza movie
>2 hours long
Lol
You forget the amount of weebs on Yea Forums. But anyways, aren’t most of the Yakuza games stories just dialogue boxes instead of cutscenes?
>so the sappy attempt at a story comes off as cringe instead.
I'd argue that's all of Yakuza 6
Completing Yakuza games 100% is very time intensive.
So what are the actual play length numbers? I suppose you just happen to know them because your dad works at Nintendo and told you?
