This game sy super hyped when it was in development. I think this was the game that cripples JRPGs, as well as FF13 in 7th gen.

if it's wkc2 it's not that bad really, although do need some specific strats to solo some shit in vellgander

wkc1 I'd be surprised, that'd be hell solo -- because that's REALLY solo, as in not even npcs. You spend pretty much all your time on the ground knocked down unable to do shit

I was originally going to quit after getting the plat in WKC2 (I was around the 500 hours mark), but the literal next day it got patched and added guilds and tons of the content. Found myself still playing over 1000 hours later.

I found the combat really hard to enjoy, just because it had that mmo-style global cooldown set up
But I really enjoyed the premise- fantasy /m/ as fuck

I remember enjoying the game a lot back when WKC was still kinda new, and the multiplayer was cool. Not sure if it'd hold up if I went back to it now, but I do get that urge sometimes.
It was always amusing to me how the player character has almost no presence in the story despite being able to carry all the party members you get and was basically just a hired hand.

It's bad in pretty much all those areas and was actually designed with focus on the garbage multiplayer component that is no longer active.

It needs a 3rd release that fixes the original yet again.

The story is really mediocre, but i like the combat and making combo's quite fun. the transform scene is great, especially dragon knight
the game is basically a worse FFXII

sure would've been nice if FFXII just let you make your own char instead of Vaan

This is the most disappointing video game purchase I have ever made. The only reason I still own the game is because I want to be sure my copy never falls into anyone else's hands.

Pretty bad, soundtrack was god tier though.
