Activision have been buddies with Nintendo for a very long time and Yea Forums still hates them.

I don't know if it's a cultural thing or what, whenever they do an announcement in China for a new game, electronic or whatever, everyone in the crowd pretends to act disinterested and not care. Doubtful. Chinks have no meanigful exposure to Pokemon, Mario, or Zelda. They only vaguely know of these things because of the sweatshops

This. I was born and raised in Russia. Russians do not give a fuck about Mario or Zelda because all the bootleg consoles didn't have them packaged in. Most of them had Battletoads packaged in so we all love Battletoads.

That isn't really true. My best friend is a chink who was never really into video games, but he's decently familiar with all 3 of those franchises. Just because there hasn't been a lot of official Nintendo presence in China doesn't mean there hasn't been a ton of piracy there.

I'm just surprised this hasn't happened sooner. Nintendo games are as inoffensive as it can get for video games, and China games have been starved for games for a while now. Tons of people are going to be getting their monies worth just from SMM2 and MK8 alone.

I have noticed a lot of Chinese players on MHGU, I can't even imagine how many there will be when this happens
