I feel like a game like TWEWY would be really fun with a keyboard and mouse.

The World Ends With You. One of the best games on the DS and one I highly recommend. Just don’t go for the ports.

What’s wrong with the ports?

Seems like it would be a bit troublesome trying to account for all of those different psyches and touch commands.

They’re decent but they don’t really compare to the DS version when it comes to gameplay.

Been playing this game recently and absolutely loving it but how do I git gud at the combat? Feels like everytime I take my eyes off of Shiki to focus on Neku, she gets absolutely destroyed and vice-versa.

Pay attention to however has the light puck at the moment and try to complete a combo on their end to pass it to the other guy. Doing so helps increase your attack output. It also helps to keep your characters either moving or blocking during those times as well. Also, a neat trick is that the power of a healing pin is also increased when Neku has the puck on him so keep that in mind.

it's strange how the world ends with you have a type of aestetic I don't really like, but here im in fucking love, I remember being meh the first hour and then I was digging it.
other game with spycho power is mother serie, tales of maj eyal. is kinda surprising how spychic powers are rare in video games.

Even if you don’t like the aesthetic (which I personally love but that’s just me) the game is still incredibly solid in every other front. Tons of customizable and fun gameplay, multiple ways to spice up the difficulty, great OST, and a likable cast. It’s essentially the quintessential handheld game.

I’d personally just do what the DS version did and just make a new combat system that revolves entirely around using the Switch hardware. Maybe build upon the Joycon setup in co-op mode.

The World Ends With You. Action JRPG for the DS. You play as Neku, an anti-social 15 year old boy who finds himself trapped in Shibuya playing the Reaper's Game, a game where people who have died must partner up with others and fight for a second chance at life against the Noise, monsters made from the negative emotions of human beings, and the Reapers who control them. Its kind of average but still entertaining, every side character is likable gets development and isn't useless, a troupe japan doesn't seem to like very much. People tend to hate the genre shift early on from survival mystery to full on battle shounen though but its still an alright series. Also had a rushed ending in the last few chapters.
