Bandana dee is the shittiest of shit tier choices and is only pushed by quotafag autists who have deluded themselves into believing he's somehow the fourth main character when even among hat goombas shit like a blue toad has had more characterization and importance.
He is so shit of a choice that taking off the bandana actually leaves you with a better character. Allow me to demonstrate:
>Bandana dee
*A primary weapon that's just yet another disjoint, nothing special about a spear.
*A source material moveset that is hot fucking garbage, think Simon smash attacks for air moves without any way to stop yourself from falling, only dash attacks are projectiles.
*Deefags know this, so they say dumb shit like "use historical fighting styles" or "he has more weapons", but neither of these would happen.
*There's nothing else, this is literally all dee ever does apart from throw items like an assist trophy
*Personality is summed up with "he's not very strong but tries his best and is a good person", think Luigi but without out the fear or family issues but more dialogue.
>Ordinary fucking waddle dee
*Access to the same spear moves, without it being a primary weapon.
*Uses the parasol as a parasol, lots of moveset potential.
*Typically found in groups and often work together, meaning he could pull some mvc2 servbot style shenanigans
*Occasionally rides mounts.
*Personality is generally more whimsical and carefree, less generic than the hat goomba. Never speaks because it doesn't need to.
*More merch than bandana dee, and a much longer history in the franchise.
Tl;Dr: a regular fucking waddle dee can do anything hatgoomba can and more, with more personality, history, and popularity. I don't even want a fucking waddle dee, I'm just sick if seeing such a shit choice get shilled.

Cloud was already a long shot as far as third parties go, but Piranha Plant was so nonsensical that I laugh at anyone who thinks a character can't get in. Even Steve and Doomguy are possible now.
