For ME1 Spacer, War Hero is the truee GOAT choice, with the class being engineer/Soldier.
However when you become Jesus in ME2 Vanguard is the best from then on because theres no way the gate guardian of hell wont try to pump you full of element zerl improve your combat effectiveness. And Destroy ending of course with Shep breathing in the end

Vanguard in ME3 is genuinely some of the most fun I've ever had in a game, ever. It's totally broken though, you can clear entire rooms on insanity without taking damage because your invuln frame uptime is so bonkers.

Charisma skills depending on your paragon/renegade points has to be one of the stupidest game design. Think about it, you suppose to play the Shepard character however you want, but basically your are rewarded by the devs for mindless following one of two strict paths.
And yeah, you can pass most conversation without caring about this system, but I the fact such things are encouraged in the first place is pretty bs.

My playthrough of these games is always the basic MaleShep, Soldier, survivor, grew up on the streets of Earth.
As cool as having Jedi powers is, I prefer just being a normal grunt. I'll leave the Force abilities to my boy Kaiden and Liara. The only thing I might change on my next playthrough would maybe be Colony born just so I could get the phone call from Shepards mom in ME3. Having her say she was proud of him/her was a nice touch.
Also my in-head canon is that Admiral Hackett is Shepards real dad and him sending Shepard out on suicide missions is just him secretly checking up on his son. You can't convince me otherwise.
