I was able to maintain blue boost all the way through on my very first lap, until I hit the part with the nest and didn't see where I'm going. And the boost pad is right at the start too, so it's going to be a case of whoever doesn't get hit by weapons at the start wins. Poor design

If you unlock the Champion Kart then you automatically unlock the decals for future GPs. It's so that more people get a chance to unlock the Kart and it's not just the same 5% winning every time.

Yes it seems to be more related to speed than timing now. In the past you could jump up there with practically no speed (webm) but now you can't do that anymore. The timing for the jump is way less strict and you'll get up there as long as you have enough speed

You get Wumpa Coins, online or offline, by finishing races. Adventure Mode completion doesnt give you any bonus Wumpa Coins if thats what you mean. Some tracks that are longer or harder give more Wumpa Coins though.

Crash 2's endings aren't fully explained anyway. Beating Cortex just stops him from running off with the crystals but then you need Brio to destroy the space station. There's plenty of room to say that Cortex then left the space station abandoned or even simply fell to earth with the wreckage.
