I remember one time when I was 10 I walked up to an arcade machine with other kids playing this and we all 4 beat the game and talked about Everquest the whole time. I miss organic arcade interactions like that. Last time I've had that was at a local arcade a year ago this guy dueled me in Initial D 3 and I beat his ass.

Id categorize it as dungeon crawler, hack and slash. I would say arpg but that will take you directly to diablo/poe, not exactly bad but they arent gauntlet.

I feel like the combat in this game was shit, but I still played the fuck out of it. My mind was blown by the whole invention system, and how making a fish tank opened up a big as shit side quest with fish related mini games.
Fun as fuck game though, also maximum comfy.
