How does this work?
Only store data in the inner half of disc.

resale dumbass
That is kinda cool. I love the shape. Impractical as all hell but totally worth it.
Please stop humiliating me, my retardedness can't be helped
You are the dumbest person on Yea Forums right now and that's saying a lot.
If you've ever messed with burned CDs as a kid, you'd know that the data goes from center to the outer edge.
If you only burn a small amount of data, most of the disc remains unused. You can poke holes in there, cut it off, etc. As long as the data remains untouched it'll play just fine.
This one always sticks with you.

Game wasn't even that good. Usual JRPG fare.

Not him, but I mean, I've burned tons and tons of cds as a kid but I can't think of any situation in which I would have found that out.
Unless I was deliberately destroying cds at only the outer part, and it happened to have only a small amount of data on it, and i happened to try putting a fucked up disc in my computer in instead of writing it off as garbage.
You mean to tell me you never looked at the disc before and after burning something onto it? How else would you tell if a disc with no labeling had data on it already or not?
I get the feeling this disc would not be balanced and would cause wear and tear on the player.
Did no one else own this?
It's pretty fucking obvious, it looks noticeably different when you burn content on it. You can literally tell where it begins and stops.
