I remember in wrestlemania XX when eddie came out at the end of the show even if he wasn't in the main event, it was really weird when he started to hug the air, weird but emotional. Such a Shame that Triple H and HBK eliminated each other and left the title vacant, what an anticlimatic finish.

Hopefully what it actually means is they're going to take the series back in the direction of Shut Your Mouth!-Smackdown vs Raw shenanigans with things like GM Mode, ACTUAL FUCKING STORY MODE, punchier gameplay, and other shit like that.
The older games were too arcadey and the new games are miserable sim trash. The wrestling games of the 2000s were the perfect middle ground and have been shit since ~2012.
