Obviously I'm not referring to 'a few feet above the ground' brainlet, they should hover at around the same height as they do in Blade Runner. That would completely change the game world because there would be no highways and the map would be focused around altitude and megabuildings, setting it apart from GTA.

the problem with that is fall damage. if you enter a building and you are ambushed by enemies and they drive you out and you accidently fall off the edge its instant death. car gets too damaged it comes crashing down and its instant death. accidently jump out the car whilst its moving and its instant death. get melee'd off something and its instant death. also impossible to car-jack people(can you car jack in cyberpunk?).

Seems fine to me. There's ways to work around all those things.
