anyone here played Harmoknight?
it's really similar but more with complex & engaging platformer gameplay incorporation.
I'm good at muse dash but not this game and trying to work out why. is the timing stricter?

The characters themselves are pretty lewd as well as the victory screen.

One of the girls is literally straddling a broom with her back arched, her ass up in the air with visible panties and her giant boobs about to spill out.

The lack of actual lewd and porn killed the interest,there's literally no R34 of the game

it's also some of the loading screens, title, win & lose screens. also the voices.
they're such minor things but they mean I can't play this game infront of anyone.

I played and enjoyed Harmoknight, but not as much as I hoped I would. My main issue with the game was the scoring; the cutoff for gold was typically pretty low, and there wasnt anything to keep track of or reward “perfect” high scores, so there isnt a great incentive to do any better than “just okay”.

The thing is, Muse Dash is really just a traditional rhythm game, with very simple gameplay, and Harmoknight is more like a music-based runner game. That means Harmoknight has some strategic moments where you have to pick your path, and the health system also OHKOs you if you fall into a pit (which will happen more towards the later levels). You can also get double points if you charge your weapon per attack, and thats very space dependent while also being a more complex input than just a simple tap (its also not tied to the music very well). Id say Harmoknight has easier rhythms in general and more forgiving timings but trickier gameplay, while Muse Dash can have much harder rhythms/speeds but is also way simpler to play and follows rhythms way better.

Is one of the best rhythm game series on the planet. You playing shitty Miku games doesn't make you better than anyone.

I bet you haven't even played based Chunithm a.k.a the greatest rhythm game ever created.

Is it just me or does anyone have a severe aversion towards literal Chink games? It's not even that some are gacha or that they're bad, since I'm assuming that Muse Dash is probably okay as a game as far as mobile-based titles go. I just would never willingly hand over anything to a Chinese company without vetting the fuck out of it. I would sooner just let the NSA host a tor exit node on my server than give a single RMB to anything remotely connected to China entertainment wise.

maybe i'm having trouble because i'm playing on an emulator. I thought there wouldn't be an issue because it's 100% speed, 60fps with no audio stretching but I guess I'll try moving it to my 3DS.
