Was never interested in this, but have they explained how exactly the Epic shekels will be used for the benefit of game development? Plenty of developers claim that similar deals (not just Epic exclusivity) will be so good for the game they're making--yet when the game actually releases it still lacks polish and true creativity. Yeah when I read the news about it being on EGS I didn't really care. I don't like Steam anyway so I'd probably end up pirating it (unless it had a DRM free release but I don't know if it would) but this sucks for Steam fans. What is so fucking crazy about Epic is how little of a fuck they give about bad PR and how everyone they buy out seems to just start spewing shit. Epic could have terrible service but if they had better PR they would be in a much better place especially if they handled buying exclusivity better and tried to negotiate to some degree to make it so everyone didn't hate them.
