Smart career move, his popularity is dwindling and this was the best possible money-making move he could have while possibly also being able to get a second wind of viewer injection as Mixer grows. The problem I see is Fortnite's popularity in general is going down, so Mixer also is a good testing ground for new games for him.

On the Mixer side though, this is just good marketing but it seems short sighted when his popularity in 2019 is nothing like 2018. TFue or Shroud would have been better grabs. Its like they looked at Twitter/Insta followers and how family-friendly it is and that was it

Based on how much money he's pulling in per month through subs on Twitch it has to be at least eight figures for him to risk losing a huge percentage of his viewer base. Keep in mind that subscriptions on Twitch can come from an Amazon Prime account, so the overwhelming majority of his viewers are kids using the free sub that their parents don't care about. They aren't all suddenly going to start paying after he moves to this new platform.
