Why did they go with another take on the Zombie mode? Extinction wasn't perfect but it was a fun alternative (when people weren't rushing everywhere to get the gimmicky parts).

As someone who actually owns BFV it was a gift pls don't judge this can't be true. The character loadouts and weapon selection are BF1-tier, and the map design is somehow even worse. The only good new feature (building set defenses on the points) is half-assed and virtually useless in almost every scenario. I can't believe I'm saying it, but I actually miss 3 and 4 and Hardline at this point.

If you want some examples, it started with 3 pistols and 6 SMGs and ended up with 6 and 20 respectively.
I could be either good or bad depending on how they implement them. In IW it was very easy to get the new weapons, in WW2 was alright but grindy and in BO4 is basically impossible pay2win bullshit.
