Pelo made a video making fun of story time animators (people who use like 2-3 frames while telling a story, more slideshow than animation). A lot of those STAs thought the video was hillarious and even enjoyed the throwback to Newgrounds. Arin tries and makes it a bigger deal than it really is "bloo bloo bloo I was criticized on newgrounds before my muh no thick skin".

The good ol boys like Oney, Spazzkid, and >Shadman called him out on this. Everyone including the people with their pronouns in their bio call out Arin and even go as far to show some very critical reviews he's left that go against his statement.
