Putting Duke in Bulletstorm was the best decision Gearbox could've done. It retains the spirit of the character as a parody macho man, and doesn't take itself seriously.
Until there's a new Duke Nukem game, putting him in other shooters would be pretty great and would keep the character fresh.

FFA Deathmatch and Team Deathmatch, fast paced and with good level design, and with many of the meme guns that Duke historically had. So a gimmicky, but fast, multiplayer shooter. Make it free, sell taunts and banners and sprays and other shit for players to teabag each other with.

Also the Duke games were successful because they ripped off whatever was popular at the time and made a campy version of that. Today this would mean Duke: Battle Royale
