Last of Us has tons of sections that break up its pacing. Resi4 is nonstop from the get go. The only break in the pacing is the Ashley part which is like...10 minutes. Ellies chapter lasts like 2 hours.

I know every likes to shit on it in this thread, but I honestly think it deserves all the praise and its one of the better games to be released this decade.

The story is great, engaging, a good spin on a classic trope. The gameplay is fun and brutal. The Multiplayer is UNDER FUCKING RATED as hell. Most fun I had in some shoehorned MP ever. Graphics at the time of release was beautiful, despite being a tail end game for the PS3. Soundtrack is memorable, and so is the sound design and level design.

That being said it has some problems. Ladder grabbing shit. Water (read plank grabbing shit) parts that are just probably hidden loading screens. Not varied enemies. Some glitches that I have seen. Slow parts as well.

I look forward to the sequel, but I know its not gonna be any where as good.

honestly RE4 sucks when you take off your nostalgia glasses. its literally just throwing zombies at you with the same "los buritos" sound bite playing at max volume no matter where they are on the map.
its not a RE game, nor is it a fun game.

so yes, TLoU is leagues above re4.
