Just about any PC you pick up from an electronic store will run games at low-medium settings. i7 is also standard these days. The only thing you should need to improve is you want better graffix or performance are RAM sticks and maybe a new GPU, which won't cost more than a console.

Xbox controllers need drivers, its not a generic usb device. Windows has the drivers built in because it's Microsoft but anything else you'll have to install the drivers or since that's not an option use the perfectly good controller that ships with the console.

The intellectual property of Death Stranding is owned by Sony. Unless Sony are planning to sever ties with Kojima Productions forever like they just did with Quantic Dream, they will never put their game on PC. It's the equivalent of putting Ratchet and Clank or God of War on PC.

i think ds has quite a lot of gameplay though, the open traversal gameplay looked fucking awesome, just the idea of putting up a ladder not in a predefined spot looked like more engaging gameplay than 99% of ps4/xbone games.
Or, Kojima and Sony negotiated and settled on a contract where Kojima could put the game on PC but Sony controlled the IP, so Kojima couldn't run off to some other publisher or console with the game they funded. Hence why they're not labelling it a PS4 exclusive like they do everything else.

as far as I know xbox controllers use xinput while ps controllers use directinput. you dont need a licence ot anything to make your controller compatible with both and most third party usb controllers for pc can use both.

If it were truly "generic USB device," you could plug it into a Playstation, Android, Apple, or Linux, or pre-Win7 system, and expect it to work as a game controller out of the box. For contrast, you could buy a modern controller which works in DirectInput mode, and have it work right away with practically everything, even a Win9x computer. Either the Xbox One controller is not a generic usb device, or every non-MS OS programmer in the world is part of secret conspiracy to blacklist Xbox controllers.

it also sucks on pc. try using one on an emulator like pcsx2 and see how you have to keep changing between ds4windows (xinput) and directinput for every game or else it might not work. i went to a friends place to play some vidya on his new projector and it took us like 20 minutes each time we started a game to get the one dualshock we had to fucking work in the damn game. all the 360 and xb1 controllers worked flawlessly. i'm convinced sony has done something with ds4 to make it run like shit on pc.
