Don't understand why Umbrella stopped using the G virus

As a biological weapon but kept using the T virus all the time; The G virus is a DRASTICALLY more practical biological weapon.

While G's made from primary infection might be harder to put down than your average zombie or Licker, it lacks spreadability in the same way that the T virus does.

Unviable G offspring are fearsome, but G's can only reproduce by putting embryos in viably large organisms, of which there's a fairly limited amount, making cleanup fairly easy-- the G virus in practice acts less like a virus that spreads and more like single organism that makes smaller less deadly versions of itself.
On the other hand the T virus infects EVERYTHING, meaning its virtually impossible to contain it except literally Burning everything down to the bedrock-- Bugs, birds, micro-organisms, you name it, the T virus infests.
The fact that its so hard to get rid of the T virus except nuking means its virtually useless as a weapon-- if you hit an enemy with it you're gambling that your enemy can contain it, because if it spreads the entire world is fucked.

The G virus on the other hand can't spread nearly as much as the T virus while being significantly deadlier in a small area due to the initial infectee's power-- Meaning its FAR more focused as a weapon, the correct thing you want in a biological weapon.

Why the fuck did Umbrella stop making/using this in favor of the T virus again?

They should've made a strain that combines the best of both.

What the fuck was Umbrellas master plan?
Turn everyone into tentacle monsters?

They wanted to sell their creatures as biological weapons like in Alien.

Total Global Penetration

It is simple.
G Virus
they make a weapon and sell it. it does its job and cant reproduce.

T Virus
the weapon does its job so well that a whole area is infected. Umbrella turns around and sales a cure/fix.

it is to create a problem so they can fix it.

Money and control. I don't think they were pure evil (originally), they just didn't give a fuck about casualties and happened to attract a ton of really fucked up people who wanted to create the next evolution of humans. It kinda spiraled out of control once they realised how damned powerful they were. In the first three games they were just a corrupt biotech company who care purely about profit and skimped on their safety procedures.

The problem was, there was like 3 different groups with 3 or 4 different plans.

There was the first ones who were actually sane and just wanted to make a super deadly Mutually assured destruction virus that could be sold to the highest bidders ala nukes. These were the ones that focused on making "Products" and not stupidly evil monsters, like the mass production model tyrants which could actually be sold as effective weapons without just spreading the virus.

Then you Had people like spencer who wanted to basically destroy the world and "Evolve" Themselves into super powerful monsters to rule over what was left, like Alexia and Spencer.
basically the 80s supervillains group who were the founders of the organization and thus were doing shit behind the first group's backs.

THEN there was the others who knew about the second group's actions but figured it could be finangled into finding a way to make humanity immortal and kind of just figured that's what the second group were doing since their actual motives made no sense, and went along with them. Basically people like Excella who figured it was about making a viable immortality virus, not Weskers "Destroy the world by using it in its current form" plan.

They did and it turned out to be so shitty they never spoke of it again.
Literally could kung fu the shit out of C virus monsters and gun wielding zombies when trying that on a T virus zombie is suicide.

Don't forget that what Umbrella actually sold was the virus primarily, along with some T-103s here and there. The monsters are just demonstrations.
