Born in 88 here, this still to me is the last great console gen where you could honestly say gaming was in a good place and there wasn't too much normalfag casuals ruining the hobby. There was tons of course thanks to Halo and GTA but they were at least contained and most importantly didn't have a voice on the internet steering the developers to pander only to them like what we see today.
